Serves a purpose providing the things you require are in stock. Baffled how they don’t have stock of basic necessities. Trunking is always rare in this store, don’t expect more than 2 lengths of 25x16 and if they’re out of stock and have only one length of 25x16 trunking, be sure to be offered a substitute 16x16 length and wonder how having 2 lengths of different sized trunking would benefit you in any way. If you ain’t a cowboy yet, come here and you’ll be sticking up random sized trunking everywhere you go. I love the explanations on why there never seems to be any trunking lol, like they order 3 lengths a time or something…

Takes up a small space. Not quite up there with the bigger places, but did have what I went to get and at discounted price too. Staff a bit too serious-looking though, needs a bit more decorum. Cashed out a product eve though I'd crossed it off the list...mistake...hmm, perhaps. Opportunity...well...???

Just collected my order which wasn’t ready after 20 minutes of ordering. Because of this I was preached about difference between ‘order confirmation’ and ‘ready for collection’
I’ve been customer for years here, guv’nor - don’t need lessons. But when I needed help with making some handle to carry my item - you proved to be useless 🤷🏼‍♂️

I came today 21/10/22 at 12 on the afternoon and was served by Paul.
Paul was so friendly and helpful, he helped me picked the right products and also helped me with reserving a popular product at bow.

Yes the ques are long but honestly customer services like Paul is well worth it.

My only issue is with the stock itself. The store doesn't hold a lot of popular products.....ever! It's a shame since the store is located in a popular area. Also there's car parked in the front. Not sure if this is for staff which I understand, but it would be good for customers, at least a few car spaces since most people who go here are builders.

Visiting from Australia and I needed some tools to fix a broken part of my suitcase. I was a bit surprised to see the extent to which businesses like Toolstation have moved online. This differs somewhat from the situation in Australia where consumer-accessible tools and hardware shops are very common. I thought "I'm in for a tedious two-way ordering process". My fears were totally unfounded! I couldn't believe how helpful Rose was in getting me a couple of 2.5 mm drills, some cotter pins and a Stanley screwdriver, all for 6 pound 19 pence! What a professional, friendly and efficient salesperson!! As it turned out, I found I needed a smaller drill bit and some glue so I returned yesterday. To my horror, Rose wasn't behind the counter! Amy was there in her place. To my surprise Amy was just as friendly and efficient. Toolstation is very lucky to employ such capable people.
