Screwfix Dartford - Acorn Ind Est

A proper Screwfix. Always excellent service and very rare that items required are not in stock. Still using large format paper catalogue which don't waste your time buffering as when visiting other stores. Good parking.

Everything I wanted was in stock and I didn't have to wait very long at all which is a change from the branch in Greenhithe. This experience however loses a star because the bloke behind the counter could not force a smile even if he wanted to. I'm not sure how his colleagues cope with his grump all day.

It was nice going to a site where I saw female counterparts. Staff welcoming and helpful. Important to me step free access available. Social distancing measures in place and one way system being adhered to. A bit too far from where I live, but it was a pleasant experience.

Staff were friendly but not very efficient. I was told my order would be a few minutes so went to Toolstation across the car park, I ordered collected and walked back A from Toolstation and still had to wait after getting back in the store for my order to be collected from the shelves? There weren’t queues so not sure why so slow.

Great service today, very speedy with my order and very helpful always nice to have good customer service and a happy attitude from the staff.

Girl behind the counter was great. And they couldn't have been quicker finding the item.

They've done away with the catalogues and pencils so I had to order online while stood out the front of the shop. I then went in to collect but the electronic order hadn't made it to the branch. I hung about for 5 minutes, the order still didn't turn up. The store couldn't refund me so I then had 10 minutes on the phone sorting out a refund and I then walked across the way to ToolStation and got what I needed without a fuss. So unless you are ordering the day before you need it, I suggest you go to ToolStation for an easier experience!

Went in today to buy a very small item but also to try & find out about something else that I needed but had no idea what it was called.
The lady & gentleman were both very helpful despite my terrible description of the item. Patience of saints really
