Canning Town Toolstation is my go to shop but do not go there after 7:30 on a weekday cause it closed with a excuse every time which means Toolstation is losing out on good money.
I got there at 19:32 not the first time either but I thought it may have changed only to tell me a power cut.
Apart from that all is good but very bad when online it says 20:00 close with no excuses

Asked the customer assistant, Tasleem, to look for metal cutting discs. She replied "you have to look in the catalogue". I asked her to please look on her database for me as I was already at the counter. She looked in her database and then came back with, "they're on page 576. Now please use the catalogue."

I walked next door to screwfix, and picked up the said product from them without any hassle. Extremely rude and lazy customer service assistant at toolstation.

Minus 100*''s, and hope the manager /management of Toolstation at Canning Town takes a note of this review. Visted on Saturday 1st October and there being hardly any customers, asked the lady assistant for washing machine waste pipe and she showed me on the screen of their computer a blue inlet pipe. Told her that's an inlate pipe and and NOT a waste pipe. Then having got a " blank" look from her, I showed her a screen shot(I had on my phone) of another of their product / & reference number and was told it was not in stock.
Her colleague then walks to her own computer and BOTH started discussion of their holiday plans.
I walked away and went NEXT DOOR to Screwfix, there they were very busy and the young lady assistance there took her time and got me all I wanted thus me spending £46.44 plus one item which was not in stock was ordered for next day collection. Today Sunday 2nd of October, I got a text message stating it was ready for collection.
On Saturday, Mr Luke - the manager of Screwfix was also so helpful and I told him about my experience at next door -"TOOLSTATION", and I stressed to him about how helpful their young lady assistance was and also expressed to him that I could see why they were so busy and how satisfied all customers were and then I walked back into TOOLSTATION, and told both the lady assistance that THANK YOU FOR NOT BEING HELPFUL 😢😢😢😢😢, I just spent almost £47 next door at Screwfix and that was to be their(Toolstation's)custom/business as I had travelled to buy all that from THEM.
To prove that this is a genuine review /& feedback to TOOLSTATION management, I attach a photo of my SCREFIX receipt.

Turn up after ordering online and 50% of my order isn’t in stock. No apology, just awful customer service. Twice that’s happened at the Canning Town branch. Never had this issue at Bow or Barking branches. Save yourself the hassle and go to Screwfix or another branch.

I purchased a few small items the other day. I asked for a bag, the lady tells me she hasn't got any. I left and it started to worry me that the light starters and small bulbs might break while it's in my pocket. So I decided to come back and asked her that I desperately need a bag because I'm struggling with these items. Within a few seconds she gave me a big bag. I asked why she lied to me earlier about not having a bag. She started to hesitate, so I just told her that I'm not going to make big deal over this since I was in a rush. But I will report you A.S.A.P.
So that's the experience I had recently with Canning Town Toolstation.
