I had a bent debit card (don't ask) and needed a replacement. As soon as I walked in the door, the girl asked what the problem was, served me right away, asked the usual security questions and within 2 minutes, it was sorted. A highly efficient place with great staff.

Visited Colchester branch for the first time since opening my account recently to deposit a cheque and found the staff to be very helpful and considerate of my disability needs. I would also add that the transition from my previous bank has been trouble free and very smooth indeed. Wish I had changed current account from the Halifax many years ago. Well done to all at Nationwide.

Visited branch quite a few times to mainly deposit cash and pay into savings account all my visits this week have been most enjoyable Elle so bubbly and lovely to me see you next week Simon Yates.

Terrible experience over the last few days. Several hundreds of pounds out of pocket. Nearly 3 hours on the phone plus a visir to a branch. Told someone from the complaints department would phone me urgently. Nothing. Do not use. I wanted to give them zero stars. Have contacted the banking ombudsman
