Nationwide Building Society

I don't have anything against Nationwide but, staff there is very unprofessional. They even don't know how to use their own software. Same thing in another branch I did without any problem.

Appalling customer service! Absolutely shocking. Unhelpful,rude and unprofessional. Never again.

Staff absolutely useless and unwilling to help.

Wasted 1h30 of my life trying to set up a current account. I’ve been a customer for 15 years, but I think it’s time to head elsewhere.

Consistently great customer service

Been my bank since I was a young child, now I'm 31. Never had any problems there! Roger in particular is great, friendly and very professional. He always goes out his way to help me. Give the man a pay rise! Credit to Nationwide he is.

If I could choose 0 stars, I would. Absolutely dreadful customer service.

I went here to ask support on a student account application as, after several attempts, the online website kept telling me there was a problem with how I have entered my details (I have checked them countless times and there wasn't).

The member of staff who "helped" me was so condescending and rude, with a "you are surely doing it wrong" attitude towards me. He kept talking over me and cutting me off while I was trying to explain myself. He also thought that was a good idea to let me know that my birth name is quite difficult to spell which I found incredibly unprofessional and offensive.

I hope you will take the time to revise and improve your approach with customers. I am definitely considering taking my business elsewhere.
