Heathrow Terminal 2 Arrivals (Stop 9)

That Is quite an impressive terminal that offers a fantastic array of facilities. There are plenty of places to.sit and a fantastic Caffè Nero with plenty of space for putting your suitcases. There are also plenty of lifts and stairs to move around the terminal as well as numerous screens to display the information for the flights.
I love the lovely artwork that is integrated in the designs and the beutifull views that the hight of the building affords you.
There is also a nice viewing point to.watch the flights.taking off.
There is plenty of car Park spaces for long and short stay.

Worse place... they are charging but have to wait to get in an out over 45mins... better don't fly... its a joke to vist. Trying to pick my mum and trying to park but sitting and waiting just to park car and go inside. It took me 45mins to reach just to the car park barrier

Awful place! Never been there before, arrived at the term 2 short stay car park and there's 4 barriers poorly signed as to which one I should use. I was not the only person confused by it as other drivers struggled too.
I ended up on level 4. The lifts to the arrivals lounge are too few, too small and the wait for one is ridiculous!
The pay machine for the car park is user unfriendly, maybe simple if used regularly but for an old git like me left me baffled; would still be there now if a young man hadn't assisted.
My suggestion is tell your friend that wants collecting from there to use the train.
Awful place!!

One of these days, someone will spend money on facilities and staff instead of expensive architects and "soaring, poorly executed architectural features". Not enough seating, poorly serviced toilets. It's not "people- centric" at all. Me -- 92 countries, 1,400 cities. Many international flights every year for 45 years...

Shop duty free

Had to pick up a friend from Germany and I have to admit, finding the terminal 2 short car park was quite overwhelming and poorly advertised /needs clearer directions. There were also some constructions going on at LHR Airport and part of the lane to the short car park was blocked. The real kicker was coming out of the car park at night, so many cars around you and trying to find the correct route to the M4 central London especially if you do not know your way out, ending up in a complete different direction. If I could describe London Heathrow Airport Area, I would say, overwhelming, misleading with improper directions and lanes. It creates chaos to individuals not knowing this place. More like Arc de Triomphe in Paris...! TODAY didn't help either when part of the M4 was completely closed to the Airport. We had to drive further down (away from the airport), turn around and came in from Terminal 4/5 area to reach Terminal 2. It was absolute madness today. Not to mention the car park fees. You pay a lot for services, that is not provided including the lifts which seems to take forever, before they reach your floor.

Very new modern and nice! Long walk to transfer! Good terminal

Passing through border service was quite smooth. There were no delays in spite of the border force strike that started on the day we arrived Heathrow.
