Morrisons Cafe

Morrisons kettering cafe has been updated with the new free standing tables the coffee is ok when the machines are working meals are cooked fresh for the regular order (fish -chips ect ect. But micro waved for any thing else childrens snack boxs and sandwich ect are on the leadup to the till where you can order your meal if the counter at the front is unmaned.

Free parking situated inside the main store.
Service can be slow when ordering hot food but if you want a quick visit for a cuppa and cold food then it's ok to visit.
The menu is cheap and the food sometimes reflects the price as some food can lack quality.

Drinks though are normally really nice

Cheap and quick, but.. Tables are always dirty, Cutlery is always Dirty, they don't drain the oil out of there breakfast items, they just throw it into the plate and it shows, if you go later on you can tell the beans have been reheated to many times. The kitchen staff need to be sorted out, they seem lazy and in need of management.

Morrisons Vegan breakfast exceeded my expectations and was great value!

When we take the kids for breakfast, it's always a miserable experience in some way or another. Today the A/C was on in the cafe, the temperature outside being -1°C. I wish I could upload a pic of all the customers sitting with their coats on.

We had a lovely long wait in the artic winds of the cafe, when our food finally arrived after half hour, it was about as cold as the ambient temperature.

All in all, a very unenjoyable experience once again. Thank you Morrison's, for your continued support of a bad experience. It really allows me to appreciate eating out at other Kettering establishments.

WAS okay - until they did away with the Barista Bar. I asked a staff member why it had been removed and she said it wasn't making enough money, but she added that it hadn't helped that it was never permanently staffed. (Customers had to wait for service until they were noticed by one of the trained barista staff members who then came over). I have made one visit since then to the cafeteria and on that occasion there were hardly any staff at all - meaning a long queue, rubbish on tables and one of the self-service coffee machines had run out of coffee, resulting in even more queuing. In the space of three or four months, what was a nice little cafeteria has really gone down the pan.

The cafe was disgusting dead flies and bugs I actually had to clean the table and clean the knife and fork I used then when I finaly got my breakfast after 55 minutes wait it was cold bacon was not cooed eggs were not cooked toast was missing then when they got me toast 25 minutes after my breakfast the toast was disgusting

Ordered chicken burger didn’t have it so opted to have the cheese burger instead. Burger came out cold and could of been used as a hockey puck
