Cambridge is a lovely place and memories made sweeter by the Afternoon Tea for 2 at Le Patissier! The portion was huge and we had to take home some. I had it for breakfast the next morning and it was as good as ever. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were helpful and polite.

Quite simply, best world-class cafe in Cambridge (possibly the country!).

Great selection of quality non-pretentious fare (including cream teas to die for), but what really stood out was their exquisite service. Both Pete and Freddy are warm, friendly and humorous and Jackie (Jacqui?) is an absolute dream, taking the time to chat with us and ensure everything was up to her highest standards. Definitely a “must visit” for anyone visiting Cambridge, and even worth a 30 minute drive just to get stuck in to more of their delectable offerings. Wholehearted recommendation from a truly enchanted patron.

Lovely service here, super friendly and a nice respite from the hot weather in Cambridge. The afternoon tea set was so generous (love the scones and clotted cream/jam!), giant cakes and delicious sandwiches (tuna, sundried tomatoes & cheese, egg mayo, salmon). We took away half of it for dinner as we could not finish it.

Pretty awful. The coffee was lukewarm, the waitress either didn’t care or was under the influence of some sort of substance and the scone was microwaved and we had to remind them that we even ordered it. Overpriced as well. Such a shame as a lovely view outside of St Johns so very disappointed that this place is so awful as someone could run a very successful place here! Definitely would not recommend and 100% unsatisfied. Should have gone to McDonald’s.

Had an afternoon tea here and it was great. Delicious and filling with as much tea as you want! And Vincenzo was amazing, helpful, friendly, and went the extra mile for a special order ❤️. Definitely recommended 👍

Really tasty scones, clotted cream is fresh and nice. Tea tasted very light and smooth. Location is nice as well with good view from the window.
