Scones were really large and delicious, with ample cream and jam. A nice little cafe in a courtyard off the main street. You need to book in advance for afternoon tea which looked scrumptious. There is a large array of home made cakes to choose from i only just resisted the temptation to sample more! Highly recommended.

Great little Cafe offering traditional full English Breakfast, selection of freshly made sandwiches with a choice of bread types - Freshly made Cakes including afternoon Tea and Scones.
Staff are cheerful and attentive.

Ver nice quaint cafe, stumbled upon by chance.
We sat outside in the tranquil courtyard, lovely staff, really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Despite it being 30°+ not flustered at all. Made for a very relaxing lunch.
We both had the quiche salad with new potatoes and salad. The raspberry presse drink is lush. We both had the clotted cream cheesecake, amazing, made fresh, bliss. The best cheesecake I've ever had!
Will definitely revisit, so glad we fount it.

Absolutely, lovely place. We had a breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. Will definitely visit again. Friendly staff and great service.

Healthy criticism, i wasnt asked how i like my eggs so maybe worth remembering if you have a strong preference and maybe a option to purchase a larger portion.

This by no means changes the 5 star rating it would not change the review.

I have a brain injury so friendly welcoming service is really important to me as i can become confused very easily. I had no such experience here which is a welcome surprise.

If you dont like the in and out feel of a Costa this is a good traditional cafe doing it how it should be done.

Thank you.

Beautiful food & the ladies are lovely. It was pretty busy but they didn't get flustered & were so accommodating. Made my visit with a busy little boy 🐒 a whole lot easier - 5* from him too...he loved his toast, so thank you!

Generally a bit of a let down.

It's an okay cafe with an outside seating area (shame the chairs were uncomfortable). Staff were friendly but slow. The toasted sandwiches were nice.
Also the lemon and white choc cheesecake was lovely. Unfortunately, the lemon meringue pie was a huge let down. Such a shame.

I tried going a second time as I thought it might be a better experience. Unfortunately, the cakes displayed were of a poor selection. No Victoria sponge, carrot cake or coffee and walnut and none of the nice cheesecake like last time. So we decided to leave.
Also, it was quite busy inside and a customer was unfortunately seated about half a meter from the door, facing the entering customers, while eating a full lunch. Which was a bit uncomfortable.

Wonderful staff and excellent food. Staff went above and beyond to meet the complicated dietary needs of my wife.

Photo shows a desert they adapted specially so that she could have one.
