The Terrace Eatery

We stopped by for a late breakfast and really enjoyed ourselves. They have a lot of outdoor seating, so when the weather is good, it’s one of the best places to sit in the town centre. I had the Spanish Eggs Benedict, which was fantastic - I highly recommend it.

The place is always understaffed and its really overpriced. Vegetarian quiche with some salads for £13.50. The price was not specified anywhere, and my partner paid without checking. We were shocked with this price, for some broccoli, quinoa, beans and the quiche. Sorry, but the fact of being located on a great location, does not allow you to raise your prices to this astronomic amount.

Been coming here for years as they make delicious cray fish sandwiches and always have heaps of vegan bakes including vegan Nutella banana cake, vegan chocolate and cherry cake and vegan lemon and blueberry cake.

Amazing food. Tasty, big portions and fairly priced. LOVE THE CARROT CAKE. Good coffee too. Just avoid the lunch rush, because this place is popular. Next time I'm back in Kingston, I'll be back.

We've been here twice and on both occasions we had to wait for ages for our food to arrive:(
Taste-wise, I'd give them average/three stars - I was hungry because of the wait and still wasn't impressed.

Service is very slow. Long queue to order and friendliness is not the best. Food was good and well served even if in a quantity only reasonable for someone not hungry or with a small stomach. Clean space in city centre where you will expect more for sure.
Very expensive.

Fantastic breakfasts with a bustling vibe.

I've got a big appetite but the veggie breakfast left me full for the rest of the day. I really liked the avocado and spinach with it.

My wife had the avocado and egg on toast with an extra of halloumi, which she thought was an excellent combo.

Our mates had one of the full English and an egg on toast and both thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely come here again when back in Kingston.

Wow, The Hot Salt Beef Sandwich was Amazing. Hot Salt Beef with Pickles and Mustard on Brown Granary Bread. I added Sauerkraut and Melted Emmental Cheese. We finished our lunch by sharing a piece of Carrot Cake which was delicious. The coffee is good too. We will definitely be back to try more of the Menu on our next trip to Kingston.
