The service was brilliant, the food was delicious. I can recommend the Butcher, its a good sized portion of full English with either poached or scrambled eggs. Gluten free bread and alternative milk (oat/almond/bonsoy/coconut) substitution available. There was also outdoor seating available.

Great coffee, lovely service, food was nice. Good quality coffee. You can really taste the difference. All day breakfast served, good brunch options, including plant based.

Lovely food, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Price is on the higher side but portion sizes are generous. Love the native mushrooms but everything I have tried has tasted good and been nicely presented.

One of my favourite places for a coffee and food anywhere near Streatham. Love it. Highly recommended. Great place for a Sunday breakfast but get there at 1000 to avoid disappointment. Good WiFi as well.

Visited Brickwood for the first time for breakfast with my brother who never been in London before. We both struggled with finishing the portion which was also super delicious 😋 very tasty coffee and kind staff. 10/10 recommend and will come back 👏🏻👌🏻

Each time I travel from Germany and visit my friend in Streatham, I always ask if we could have brunch at Brickwood. The Butcher dish (as seen on the picture) is my all-time favourite!
You get to choose between scrambled or poached eggs. I had scrambled, my friend got the poached eggs and we could not have been happier :-)

I wanted to like this place, because good places in the neighbourhood are always welcome. But sadly I can't - eye-watering prices, then their system adds service charge even to takeaway collections (be warned!). We thought veggie burrito was exceptional (but £14 after service added), and corn fritters were ... bad :( a weird landscape of lukewarm fritters sitting on an island of mashed avocado surrounded by cold sour cream and sweet ketchup.

In summary, hit and miss, with prices that don't justify rolling the dice. We probably won't go back. But hope the place continues to thrive, because it is a pleasant place to have coffee and a snack.
