True hidden gem!
Delicious and original food. Honestly one of the best breakfast and lunch places in the De Beauvoir area. Recommend the All Day Breakfast and the porridge.

The iced coffees and smoothies aren’t great at all. The iced coffee had sugar put in it cold and there were grains of sugar going into my mouth. The smoothie had massive chunks of frozen fruit that kept blocking the straw. This place is too expensive for what it is and is more focused on the visual aspect for instagram (even though there are boxes lying around in the middle of the cafe) rather than their actual food quality. I hope that this feedback can be taken constructively and be used to improve the quality.

Disappointing service. Ordered a soup but straight after cancelled this at the food station as I wanted to change the order to the meal deal and had to re-queue for 15 mins to request this, reorder the meal deal and pay the difference.

I was told I could no longer take advantage of the meal deal at £12 and that I had to pay for the 3 items separately (totalling more than £12). Told something along the lines (hard to understand) that I had to order on the online, yet I was attending an in-person workshop that day and saw absolutely nothing on the countertop or menu regarding ordering online.

Made absolutely no sense and the person serving me barely spoke or seemed to understand English and made the experience quite unpleasant and poor customer service. Such a shame.

Had to then wait a very long time for food despite being the first to order! What could have been enjoyable, sadly wasn’t and over something so minor and unnecessary. No care for the customer or much logical sense in such an approach.

This place is everything I love. Lighting that adjusts to the time of day, music that is so enjoyable and at a great volume, delicious food, and kind staff!
Definitely will be back

Stop what you’re doing and go to Helma. Order the all day breakfast, sit back, and await culinary delight. Absolute gem of a cafe. Crepes are off the hook too.

Totally awesome and unpretentious. Great coffee, nice sweet treats and super original food menu. Lovely to hang out in a friendly family run place, that makes so much of the tasty food from scratch! Also an easy spot to swing by to find a nice gift card and bottle of natural wine! Definitely a gem in the neighborhood.

We’re big fans of HELMA, our local cafe. Tasty food made with quality products, plenty vegan and gluten free options, small regular changes to the menu are great for trying new ingredients in regular meals, I like it a lot. Friendly owners and staff, professional and helpful

Great spot. A refreshing spin on brunch & lunch dishes. Made with care. Pickles, ferments and kombucha made on site.
