A real greasy spoon cafe. . Not something that would scare off real workman unlike some in the area. .. Open six days a week. formerly the 'cosy cafe' but was renamed after the original owner passed away. good cheap food served with a smile

Food was very good. Had full breakfast and can't find any fault. I gave 4 stars as the price was a bit on the high end.

Sandwiches made to order and can be hot or cold. Ingredients are high quality and service is always great

Best English breakfast you would have.
Been passed through few generations same family n it hasn't much changed as you can see pics on the wall.
Only negative thing is most of the time she open cafe late.

I've been going to this cafe for many, many years. A lovely old-fashioned independent cafe serving great grub, managed now by lovely Xenia. Her Dad George had set up the cafe and its much loved by many locals.

Love staff. Restricted menu. No latte, cappuccino coffee just instant. Very convenient to visit if your train is cancelled as station 50 yards away.

Straightforward Cafe, very good value for money. Welcoming staff, food quality excellent.

Good local cafe for breakfast, with fair prices. Pity it's closed on Sunday.
