After a disastrous attempt of breakfast at The Piolets Hub we went to James'. Clean, efficient service & EXCELLENT food. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Really good value for money too

I like James Cafe its good for HORLEY but i dont find the staff particularly friendly, they take your order and serve the food but never come near you to ask if you are happy with everything and if you enjoyed your food. My English breakfast was ok, it came with one piece of toast and two fried eggs which were overcooked and solid. I had to keep waving my arms to attract the attention of the staff so i could order coffee. There were two other customers at the time, not very busy. There is always noise from a radio or television so loud. Would i go back? Yes, but they need to streamline their act. Turn the noise down.

We had breakfast today at James. Hands down to the team and the manager. The place is amazing. Tasty food and can not say enough about their cakes and baclava. First impressions always matters and James cafe&bakery has our hearts.

The coffee was amazing and despite only getting two and having a 3 hour meeting, the staff were accommodating and lovely

Very pleasant and polite service. The coffee is perfectly good and there is a wide selection of pastries, sadly no crisp bite where needed. The croissant and Pan au Chocolate are too dense without a light crisp shell.
There is seating outside, but a lot of cigarette butts on the floor and other trash that sadly detracts from the enjoyment of sitting in the morning sun.
I hope the manager reads this, as the problems are small and once corrected this will be an excellent coffee spot.

Good service and nice fresh food. Very reasonable prices. Outdoor seating. The pancakes with fruit and syrup are delicious!
