Loxley Layby Cafe

Decided to stop for a break after 5hours at work and ordered a breakfast bap and a coffee. Coffee was ready immediately and only a very short wait for the bap. Sausage, bacon, egg, mushroom and beans filled a hole just nicely. Prices seem to be in line with usual roadside cafes. It was quite misty during my stop but I can imagine when it's sunny that the cafe does a roaring trade. Space to sit and eat inside, picnic tables outside or just take your purchase away. Portaloos are provided should you need to go when you stop.

Food lovely. But was missing a butty when I got home

Been going here for years on way to Stafford bike shows. Normally long wait n greasy goods. New owner has it nailed ..short wait beautiful bacon n egg butty. Would definitely recommend A******

Best place to stop, doesn't look much but food is great, well recommended

Very busy roadside cafe, had a little bit of a wait but if ordering a lot I would recommend ordering well in advance via phone. The food was lovely, had a bacon, sausage and egg bap which was well cooked and tasty.... careful though as they tend to cut in half and I nearly dropped mine as I opened it as wasn't expecting that 😅

Amazing sandwich, but had Violent s**ts 45 mins later…. Still won’t stop me visiting again.
