Fab place for a walk around the lakes and then a stop off for food and drinks.. Had a lovely lunch overlooking the lakes and the best chai Latte... Lovely freshly made, home cooked food too.. Highly recommend a visit

Came here for a bite to eat before paddle boarding. Glad it’s biker friendly too. Bit of a queue to order food. Staff were incredibly polite and accommodating despite all looking very tired. Ordered cheeseburger and fries. Burger was rather well cooked although fries and salad were ok. Would revisit, maybe when it’s quieter. Would make an interesting biker venue instead of H as food and service much better. Maybe some more choice such as jacket potatoes and sandwiches? Thanks for a great venue.

Some of us had the Full English breakfast. I had the Full veggie breakfast it was really very tasty! The place itself is beautiful it's in a lovely wooden building and the staff are really nice! It's set next to a beautiful lake and we will definitely go back. It is dog friendly too!

Lovely staff cake and setting, watching the water skiiing. Expensive, 2 x mocha and 2x cake all but 13 quid but in todays climate no surprise and driven by other things.

First place I have ever known staff to come out to correct an error without being asked. Great food, service and coffee. Highly recommended.

Love this place!

Food and scenery are stunning. Free parking with plenty of space. A rustic/alpine feel to the place. Inside and outside space.

Staff friendly and dogs welcome.

Found - and fell in love with - The Wandering Kitchen today after my husband and I had done our jaunt to the East Oxford Farmers Market and then the usual donkey derby around Tesco.

Delicious hot chocolate and equally delicious Vicky Sponge. Will definitely return to sample the lunch menu.
