Coffee Stop (The Friends Of Poolsbrook Country Park Cafe)

Pleasant place to walk the dog, new play areas for kids, nice cafe, free parking, stayed at the caravan site, just a little road noise otherwise very pracefull

Rather expensive food for what you get. It also seems to take ages for hot food to be served when the place wasn't very busy. It's a shame as it's the only place here to get food/drinks and it could be much better.

Absolute rip off ....get your goods priced up so people can make the choice of paying or walking out
£8.50 my friend paid for 2 bottles of pop and 2 calypso ice pops
Us £2.50 for a choc muffin
£2.00 for a tiny sqare of cake
£2.10 for a magnum ..the going price ...I had to go back in and check once my daughter told me what she had paid ......shocking !!!

Nice little cafe. With ice-creams, tea / coffee, cake and pastries etc
Plenty of seating inside and out.
Toilets are available.

Visited lovely Poolsbrook Country Park with a friend today.
We decided we would have lunch at the cafe.
We looked in the display cabinet- awful anaemic looking sausage rolls and pasties, random slices of cake. We asked if they had scones-no sorry.
This cafe could and should be an absolute goldmine if properly run by someone who knows how to make/ serve lovely homemade food cakes etc.
Such a shame.
I would give 5* for the park.
We left and drove elsewhere.

Nice park with kids play, coffee shop a welcome stop, staff always pleasant and food good and reasonably priced.

Beautiful area. Lady ( short brown hair and glasses ) in coffee was very pleasant and helpful. Toilet area not so good

Was expensive for coffee..Costa prices like mcd prices and they had stopped serving food at 1.45 too early
