Convenient and staffed by a friendly lady, but they do take advantage of their remoteness. £2.60 for a piece of clingfilm wrapped flapjack. That's a sit inside, heated and dry, with WiFi price, not a bench in the drizzle.
But, today at least, there was no queue, the tea was hot and the flapjack lovely, and the drizzle only light, but the cold was biting.

They do a great gluten free bacon sandwich. Thoroughly recommended. Coffee is good too. Friendly and helpful staff.

Just completed a nice walk along the High Peak Trail from Friden to Parsley Hay and stopped for break at Parsley Hay Refreshments. Great place to have a drink and watch people passing by on the Trail with stunning views of this great national park.

I went to the kiosk yesterday with my children and the staff were two young girls, dealing with a picky 5 and 7 year old is usually a task in itself however the two young staff members were very helpful and provided a great service, the Bacon Cob was excellent and the kids thoroughly enjoyed their hot chocolates with a fast and friendly service. Excellent location for a walk with some stunning scenery from the seating area. Will most definitely be visiting again

Had to wait at least 10 minutes at the hatch just to be served a 500ml bottle of drink. The lady serving me was on her own with no other staff assisting when I arrived. Overall an OK place to stop and take a short break from cycling.

Nice little shop this located just past the end of the Tissington trail. Very well run with a good system. Loads of seating available. If you set off from Ashbourne or thereabouts you'll be glad of this stop as it's peddling all the way and all up hill!

Nice place to stop and have coffee and a cake. The lady serving even gave me a couple of paracetamol! Very friendly.
