I just love Selby Morrisons cafe. Staff are special....some possibly autistic but very civil and professional. Well done Morrison's. The coffee is fairly decent....and very good value. But the real kicker for me is the music. There is something about the music..."I feel good....." (motown)....I come here several times a week (despite living 50 miles North)....& although I don't come especially I leave feeling special.

Two of us went in to the cafe and tried to order a half a roast chicken dinner each only to be told there wasn't any left as they were only allowed to sell a limited number of 6 half chickens !! this wasnt even near closing time but at 1.15 pm on a Sunday lunchtime so can't comment on the food but if that's the service then we'll be going somewhere else in future.

Food is usually good in here. I got the Builders Butty today, while the fillings were nice the actual roll was hard and doughy. The coffee out the machine is nice. The table wasn't cleaned and there was tea spoons. Staff were pleasant enough.

You could have used my porridge to cement a wall together, it was grim. Also they put about half a jar of chocolate spread on it rather than the small drizzle I had imagined. My other half had a big daddy breakfast which we weren't expecting to be health food but over 2000 calories for one meal is crazy! Deep fried everything.

Not the best, unclean, dust everywhere, child seats were sticky and generally not great, tables had evidently not had a clean in a while, some of the food was okay, but the poached eggs came out like old saggy balloons, not great...Definitely will not be returning.

Went in at 5.30 and told they weren't cooking any food. As we had gone for fish and chips this was disappointing. Spoke to duty manager who said they would do us burger and chips, which we agreed to,but did feel like we were inconveniencing the staff who just wanted to clean up. Spoke again with duty manager who said they were having problems with a broken dishwasher
