Jack's cafe restaurant

Great cafe, traditional fare, always friendly service and quick. Portions are very generous, you don't go away feeling empty. Son enjoyed his milk shake.

We went to Jack's cafe for our staff farewell lunch on a Sunday. Although the restaurant was busy, the ladies who were serving managed to bring us the meals in good time. The food was nicely cooked, and in big portions. We all enjoyed the meal, and the service. It is definitely value for money, and worth every penny to be here.

Stopped off in Newtown on our drive home, looked about for somewhere child friendly to sit and have some lunch. The food was good value and huge portions, especially the children's menu! Food was pretty tasty too. Staff were friendly and polite. We sat outside as having an active toddler meant he could watch the cars go by and it kept him occupied. Didn't realise people would be smoking on tables around us though which was off putting. If we had noticed signs on tables to say it was ok for people to smoke out there I think we would of sat inside or gone somewhere else.

Excellent food and lovely cafe... But the staff are by far the best part... Very friendly and always about if you need anything... I will be returning.. On my bike again if any staff read this haha thanks all :-)

You won't get this kind of value for money anywhere. Plate full of food and cheap, lovely friendly staff, who can't do enough for you. We asked for liver dinner, they didn't have any, so one of the waitresses went out to a local butcher to get some. How many cafe's will do that??

Excellent experience. Very fast service. Great value for money - huge portions! Below is the brunch priced £6.95, and pulled pork panini. Have, and will be revisiting.

This place was just what we needed :) Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was amazing and such good value for money. We will definitely call here again if in the area :)
