Beautiful location and a great stopping point while visiting the lake. The cafe is clearly popular with locals and visitors, and there is sometimes a wait to be seated for lunch, but it's worth it! The tea and coffee is delicious, as to be expected from a place with a large variety of locally roasted coffee beans for sale. Their lunch menu is simple, based on daily specials, which allows them to be fresh and focus on the quality. Portions are generous, especially with the cakes! They don't serve breakfast/lunch every day, so make sure to check ahead if you want to be sure. Overall, this was the best cafe we visited during our trip to North Wales!

Fantastic food, I'm a strong believer of cafes doing a few things, but doing them well, and Caban absolutely shines here! The food is fantastic. Every meal I've had (two lunches and a breakfast stack!) were all absolutely delicious, and the salads were amazing. Very decent prices too I think.

A quirky little place tucked out of the way. Ate here for breakfast and would highly recommend as the food and coffee were delicious. Everyone in our group had different versions of the breakfast stack and all had 5 star rating

Lovely little spot a stones throw from Llanberis and the crowds. Three coffees and cake plus a portion of lovely chips for just over £20 - winner.

Can't believe we haven't been here before, definitely will become our go to food place when in North Wales. Big portions of super tasty and healthy food from a simple seasonal menu. Proper coffee well made. Best new place we've found in ages.

Hidden gem we found on a little road trip. We went back almost every day for food. Great vegan and vegetarian selection. Beautiful location feels like you're in a tree house

Lovely breakfast stack...treat! Great service. No children's food options at all, but brought my own. No option of having 3 items on a breakfast stack; only 2, 4 or 6. I think 3 would have been perfect. Despite this, still fantastic! Will be back.

For me I liked the place so much. It's peaceful and beautiful. You can either have a cup of coffee or a meal.
Unfortunately there menu now is reduced according to the pandemic but what I think they could do more than what they have specially for the breakfast, they have just 2 choices bacon, pork or hach brown and tomato.
The dinner menu change every day but it tastes delicious at least what did we eaten 😋. What I would like to suggest is down among the woods you could do a tiny play area for kids so families could come and enjoy a meal all together.
On the day we've been Unfortunately some of the staff were a bit unfriendly with all visitors when we were there maybe they were tired or has awakened on the wrong side.
The GPS wasn't 100 % accurate as it was saying your destination on the left which was a house and no where to park there so be careful it's a bit on the right down and there's a parking area.
Overall I would recommend it and I'll go there again
