Went inside the shop and found a lot of freshly made pastries. Asked for one and she told they have to finish the left overs from the front tray and then only can sell the fresh once . Not very professional.

Arrived at 10:00 there were 3 other customers, who were served and had finished before our drinks arrived. Coffee took 17 minutes to be made as a barista myself this isn’t just the time it takes to make 4 drinks. Cutlery absolutely filthy wouldn’t eat here.
5 members of staff all stood around chatting no smiling or customer service at all.

Ordered a lemon candy striped gateau 6" cake for my husband's birthday. What a pretty looking cake! Just didnt feel like cutting through! It was delivered on time with UTMOST CARE and in the PERFECT condition WITHOUT ANY DAMAGE! A very delicious cake with perfect sweet levels and a good cream to cake ratio! Loved it! Macarons were good too! Definitely recommend PV! My permanent cake shop now on! Keep up pat-val...!! Kudos!

We visited this branch today for some lunch but won’t be visiting again. The food was nice but cleanliness and hygiene are clearly not high on their agenda…..the cutlery was dirty as were the tables and it was very obvious that the floor hadn’t been swept for some time. It would have been nice if the staff actually looked like they enjoyed their job instead of just lolloping around the room half heartedly attempting the jobs that clearly needed doing.

Good coffee, but the cakes were dry and boring and the service was not the best. The two ladies working today just seemed miserable and like they didn’t want to be there, no smiles or conversation.
Table was dirty also even though it was the only one with no empty mugs/plates on it.
Having spent £17 on two cakes, a coffee and a Diet Coke, we would have expected a bit more…maybe even service with a smile?

Very crowded, table not cleaned after previous guest. Server didn’t know if any of the cakes had fresh cream. Coffee (double espresso) was very good. Chocolate with oat milk was also very good BUT my wife liked it because it wasn’t too rich. I guess that’s a personal choice thing. Toffee apple cake was super fresh and tasty. Overall fair to middling - bit expensive for what it was.

Ordered afternoon tea for three today and with 10% discount this came to £51.30. I wouldn’t have minded had the the afternoon tea been edible. The selection of sandwiches were disgusting and for what we got in the box it certainly wasn’t worth the money. It would have been cheaper to to actually go to a nice hotel for afternoon tea where there would have been a better selection of sandwiches and more of them and more cakes. The cakes weren’t even very nice. Utterly disappointed and this was a 75th birthday treat for my aunt so makes it’s embarrassing also. Never again would I use Patisserie Valerie. It would appear that the take away afternoon tea is filled with whatever isn’t selling. Avoid at all cost.

Great stop if you're a pastry lover or just want to treat someone. Warm welcome by staff who give the option to sit in or take out with beautiful packaging.
J'adore beaucoup!
Il faut faire une visite!
