Took my partner here for afternoon tea for her birthday. It was not too bad. Nothing that special really. Food was not too bad. Only liked 1 out of the 3 sandwiches. Still have no idea what was in 1. Could definitely do a better range. Scones was the best part. Overall it was good. Abit pricey for what you get really.

Service was horrible. There were two people: a lady waitress who ignored clients waiting in queue for 10 minutes and then yelled at them for asking if they can buy some croissants (they left, lost 6 costumers right there) and a manager-looking man who didn't seen to care about serving people either. Between the time we sat down and until we left, they had lost 3 groups of costumers by ignoring them or yelling at them.

We waited 10 minutes to be seated and then sat ourselves as the place was empty. We ordered some teas and everything was dirty: the cups were almost unwashed with remnants from the previous clients and the milk pot had floating food in it. We asked for a new set which we got fine but we're not returning there. Shame, as it used to be my mom's favourite coffee place.

Croissants were nice.

Ordered a Full English breakfast and a vegetarian breakfast.,
The assortment was an disappointment for the price charged..
The tables were not cleaned properly.,
The waitress who served us kept banging the plates on the table.. 🤷‍♀️
The bacon was a like a piece of cardboard.. 🤢

just one of many English market stalls not worth a visit. it's just made for the mass buyer. the staff is untrained, no manners and manners in serving each person and extremely unhygienic serving of utensils and glasses. our straws were placed on the surface of the table where each had touched before. the drink glasses were extremely unpleasant to look at, let alone drink from. I wonder how expensive these glasses are, so the owner can't afford to buy new ones.

Wonderful experience: Got taken here as a birthday surprise by my friends. To my delight the staff were aware it was my birthday, and greeted me with a birthday song and a plate full of goodies. There was a good variety of everything from sandwiches to cakes. Tea, coffee or soft drinks are available in a good variety. There was nothing that was too much trouble for the staff. Would recommend this place to anyone who would love a difference in a treat. Thank you all lovely staff - and of course my two lovely friends!

The pastry was ridiculously dry, it tasted stale, the biscuit was old. Not judging a book by its cover ever again

Great service, lovely staff. They tailored to my individual gf food allergies with savory food, adapted a dish for me. The macarons were lovely. Mums cakes were great!
