Highly recommend this place for getting your passport photo done. Only £5 (which is exactly what you'd pay for a photo booth) and this guy gives you 12 photos instead of 4 plus you know for certain that the passport office will accept the photo. I went in and before me was a mother with 4 young children. She had difficulty speaking English but the shop owner wasn't bothered by this and was extremely polite and courteous the whole time. Will definitely go back when I need another photo done or I have any sort of photography advice or repairs.

Do not do business with these people!
They are rude and obnoxious! They will not listen to you! They will not help you in any way!! They will do what suits them and that is all!

At the start of February I dropped my friends Sony DSC HX50 that I had I borrowed to take pictures for my charity so took it into this shop to get a quote on how much to fix it.
After 3 weeks and about 5 calls from me to them asking for the quote (which were nearly always answered with "we will call you back later", which they never did!) I had only one week until my friend was going on holiday and needed their camera back.
I called this shop again, they told me there was still no news so I asked them if I could come and collect my camera as I was out of time. They still had no quote, the work hadn't been completed and had no new information so they told me they would call when I could pick up the camera. I waited a few days and called them to chase again and try to find out why I couldn't pick up my camera but once again no information.
I finally received a call on a Friday 3rd March saying i could come and collect it. I explained I would be in on Monday.
Already having paid £200 for a new camera and waiting over a month to get my original camera back I arrived at the shop on Monday to wait half an hour for them to work out where my camera actually was, while they searched they called people, wandered off out the back, had a chat, wandered back in but still couldn't find my camera.
After looking in a glass cabinet myself (right in front of me and them) I discovered my camera which they got out of the cabinet. Then they told me that the work had been done anyway so I had two options. They would pay me £15 for it as I already had a new one or I owed them £108 plus the £20 deposit that I already paid! For their mistake.
So no news for four weeks! Then I have to decide wether to sell a camera worth more than that for parts but with no idea where to sell it for that or keep a camera that I don't need as I already bought a new one and be down £330.
When I tried to explain how this was a bit difficult as I had clearly explained my situation on the phone, they knew and gave me no other information at any point, not even when calling to say I could collect it, and had already paid £200 for a replacement camera, I was met with the most abrupt rudeness I have ever been witness to in a shop. Never stopping to admit their error or their lack of communication had caused one and ended up being forced to pay the money to get my camera back from them.
Not even as much as a sorry for the inconvenience!
I now have a camera that I don't want and I'm £330 down!
Please don't make the same mistake I made!

They really helped me out a while ago with my sons telescope even though it wasn't purchased from them. Very helpful and kind, they really helped to make the telescope use able. Thank you.

8 photos for £7. Not bad for my liking. They even pre-cut two for my passport too which was very convenient. Nice little shop.

Took my Canon 750D in with an Error code 20, as they are the nearest Camera repair shop. I called every week. Still no answer. 7 weeks later I get told me they couldn't fix it. Now it won't even switch on!!!!

Really enjoying learning how to use my late Dads camera at Woods and Porter Camera Club. Barry and Colin make the club interesting, teaching me how to use my camera and are very helpful going over bits I don’t understand. The worksheets on what we are shown each week makes a great reference point.
I would throughly recommend the Club x

Not Impressed - drove 11mins to this location as i didnt want to use the machine at ASDA, met a guy outside who said the shop owner is coming as he called him - asked him when that was, he checked his phone and said 55mins ago. I took a 20mins walk looking for alternative in the priory mall. On my way back the guy was still there. As my parking was running out I went to make sure I haven't received a ticket. Went back to the shop the owner had arrived and let the other guy in.

I tried to open the locked door and all he did was wave his hand like we are closed even though he let the other chap in who also wanted a passport photo.
