As a professional photographer using traditional film equipment, I would not trust my servicing and repair requirements to anyone else! Assessments/quotations are free and honest and the work has, in my experience, always been carried out with tremendous care and expertise, within the time frame quoted and to the estimated price. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. Free parking (1 hour) is generally available very close by one of Wellingborough Road's laybys.

I used their film developing service and had the scanned photos within hours, really quick and efficient. even though my purchase was tiny compared with other customers who were buying cameras, it didn't feel that way. I look forward to processing all my photos with Skears now, as I try and work out how to use my new (old!) 1976 Zorki camera!

Went there today as I had a problem with my SD slot. Problem resolved quickly.The service, professionalism and courtesy given was second to none. I have no hesitation in recommending. Thank you.

Went in to get some prints done ended up buying a pair of binoculars. Staff seemed friendly, and the quality of prints were very good. The purchase experience for the binoculars however, was a tad dissapointing due to the fact that we were not told it was a display that we were purchasing until this was raised with the shopkeeper, and only then did they give us a brand new one. All in all a good Service and will probably return again for some photos.

Having wanted to upgrade to a Nikon D500 for sometime now (as I love wildlife photography), I found a used one on Skears' website. The condition was described as excellent and at a very reasonable price.
I called their shop yesterday and spoke with Jeremy, of whom was incredibly helpful, very polite indeed and dealt with my numerous questions with total professionalism, thank you Jeremy.
I ordered the item soon after via their website and received the item this afternoon in, as described, excellent condition.

An absolutely amazing camera shop. The staff are always super kind and friendly. Prices are pretty reasonable for what you get. Have a Nikon D3100 from them which has been amazing from the getgo. They're also super helpful for advice if you're unsure on things. If you ever need a camera or any accessories, this is an amazing place to go. Will be recommending to anyone who needs anything from a camera shop.

So happy with the professional quality my prints were produced at, extremely quick delivery as well as development and lovely customer service. Will definitely be using them again!
