Great Yarmouth Racecourse Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite

Had a lovely peaceful two weeks here. The shower and toilet block was always spotless and unlimited hot water in the shower. The site was full while we were there but still very peaceful.

Good campsite in a good location for the attractions in Great Yarmouth centre. About a 10 minute bus ride or 30 minute walk down the sea road. The beach proper is about a 10 minute walk. The dunes less. Facilities on the site was spotless the piches were plenty big. The one we was on was flat but there where plenty of motorhome using levelling ramps. A nice touch we thought was when you arrive they give you the paperwork and say choose your own pitch. (Not sure if this is so when busy). The best bit, the sea breeze! I know some people complain but when it was 40 degrees it was a blessing. The pitches look a bit bare of grass but it was the hottest spell in British history.

I loved this campsite. Very clean restrooms and showers. Friendly staff. Right near the beech. Not far from great Yarmouth an easy walk.

The facilities onsite were kept in a very clean condition throughout. Thank you to all involved in that. The grass pitch we were on needs leveling as do a lot of the other pitches. Overall an excellent 5 days.

Fairly average site as far as CAMC sites go to be honest. There are numerous seasonal pitches that have really grotty vans on them with junk left outside which brings down the overall impression of the place. Ground is uneven and the grass needs work. But the location near the beach is good.

I've actually been here 3 times with friends and on each occasion the staff have been rude towards us. They made me feel like they were doing me a favour by letting me pay to be there!! The last time we went was in June 2022 and we were about 10/15 mins early, which wasn't a problem to us, but it was to the staff. Due to the 3 hour long journey to get there, my friend needed the loo. So, we parked up, out of the way so he could use the toilet and we got a right telling off - "You can't park here", "You'll have to go out and come back", etc. We were literally about to drive down to the front and park up for 10 mins but we didn't even get the opportunity to explain our case. Put it this way, we cancelled our booking there an then via the C&M club app, turned around and went over to Long Beach Caravan Park in Hemsby where we had an amazing weekend (and it was cheaper). We'll never return to this site again unfortunately.

Fantastic site. It’s very peaceful and the toilet and shower block are excellent. The staff are brilliant and the club member prices are reasonable. The fish and chip van visits twice a week and there are a small amount of essential items to purchase from reception. Access to the town centre is very easy along the front and you can walk to the beach over the dunes in about 10 minutes. The beach itself is a mixture of sand and pebbles and is also very quiet for those wanting to sit in peace.

Lovely site, friendly staff and other campers. Not far from the beach and the town. We had a lovely stay. Will definitely stay again. Thanks. The pictures are of the waterways great yarmouth. Only a short walk from the site.
