Went glamping, absolutely stunning! Amazing views, friendly staff. Excellent facilities and beautiful accommodation. Honestly can't fault anything, will be going back!

Beautiful campsite. Amenities are spotless and the addition of a 24 hr shop on site is brilliant, even better being able to pay by card through the website. Being able to choose your own pitch allows you to pitch according to your priorities and the surroundings are stunning. Price is extremely reasonable and the owners are very pleasant and helpful. Will definitely return should we have chance.

This is a magical little spot with plenty of amenities. Chickens and goats wandering about., Fantastic views and a great little pub nearby. An honesty shop selling basic provisions on site with a pretty picnic area. A play area for children and fire pits available. Dogs are allowed to be off leads if they are well behaved.
Downsides are the site is very exposed with little shade or shelter in sunny or rainy weather and there are limited flat areas so you may have to drive about a bit to find one if it's busy.
It does attract family's with small children so do not expect peace and quiet. On our last visit the children in the play area screamed constantly and it ruined our stay to the extent we won't return, but this is the fault of the parents who allowed this and not the campsite. There were also polite well behaved children who were a pleasure to camp next to so it's the luck of the draw.
We had a magical but strenuous walk down to Beadon Brook. Apart from this there are not many walks from the site but lots to see in the local area.

We stayed here for four nights mon-fri. The location is right out in the sticks with amazing views! It does not have hook ups or electricity but they do provide charging lockers at £2 for two hrs. The place itself is very relaxed and is large enough for everybody to have a large distance between them. There are two play areas for children and there is enough in them to keep them occupied. There is an area that keep chickens and goats. You can even go into the enclosure which is great. They have an honesty shop which is open 24/7 and you take what you want and leave the money. Pub 2 min walk away and serves lovely food although a little pricey. Amazing walks all around. We went as a family in our camper and really enjoyed it even though it rained a few days (always the way haha).

The fourth camping of our UK holiday was at Hennock Hideaways near Bovey Tracy. Stayed at this campsite for four nights and had chosen the site because of Dartmoor. We have hired mountainbikes nearby and cycled several challenging tracks. We have been to the waterpark in Torquay on a sunny day and kids had lots of fun. Finally we did a lovely walk in the nature reserve of Dartmoor. Camping was nice with some goats (youngest was feeding them all the time) chickens and a cat. In the weekend the campsite was really crowded. Too much campers for two showers and four toilets. We really loved they served full English breakfast in the weekends. And delicious pizza at friday and saturday nights.

Fantastic camping experience and really friendly easy place to camp. Stayed twice now and ate breakfast from the site. Great views and really relaxing atmosphere.

Not the place to go if you need entertainment but the view alone makes it worth a visit. You can have a fire in a container which is handy in September. The pub nearby is also worth trying.

Love camping here. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely views of the hills and the site is within close range to places of beauty in Dartmoor. Will be back!
