Had a lovely camping weekend break at Billing, it's not a luxury resort by any means, but it's nice and comfortable and great for a weekend.
Has a nice restaurant, bar, kids play areas, swimming pool with water slide, adventure golf, fun fair, arcades, go karts, hovercraft and a couple local shops to stock up with essentials.
Very polite and friendly staff, clean toilets and shower blocks on the campsite, although the fairground toilets were dirty.
Will be returning again in the future.

Short break away with family. It was great because we could park camper van next to tent so we were all together. Children really enjoyed the funfair and the pool. Site was very busy but no problem with noise. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

I gave one star because you can't put none in order to do a review. Now are you sitting comfortably, I will begin; the reception staff were rude and ignored me until I was bluntly told to go to the gate man who would have my reservation details. He was abrupt too and gave me a map and money off vouchers for other attractions miles away and when I asked him directions to our plot he said he didn't know and wouldn't point it out on the map as he hadn't got his glasses on. We drove around for ages looking for our spot but as it's so badly signposted we just finally parked up where some other tourers where and now we are just praying that we can actually get out when we come to leave as we appear to be in a bog as we had rain overnight and obviously the site is not well drained. When we booked we were told of all the wonderful facilities the park had so we were willing to pay the extortionate price to stop as it was new year but then discovered they have shut most of them. They declare they have wifi but it is so antiquated our lap top can't use it. We paid 25 pounds to go to the new year eve buffet party and the food they served us was the cheapest quality the sort of sausage rolls that come a 100 in a bag for pound which only the most desperate campers were eating as there was no other options available . The cabaret singer was so bad in order to protect our hearing we thought it best to leave and see the new year in in our own van playing scrabble. We talked to quite a lot of campers both touring and static owners since we have been here and not any of them had a good word to say about the place. Many of the attractions advertised have now gone and those still here are shut which we didn't know because we were not given any opening and closing times. The shower block facilities are disgusting and to avoid catching the plague we made do with our own. I doubt you will be surprised that this is one holiday site along with any more run by these owners that we will be ever ever ever visiting again. As soon as we get home we will be starting proceedings to get our money back.

It's been a few years since we visited. We came for the firework weekend 1.2.3 November Last time we visited it was on the big lake on a pontoon. Everyone could pick a spot all the way round the lake and get a good view. This time in the banks of the marina lake. Visibility poor from site ground although I'm sure the billing mill customers had a grand view as did the quays. Mad. Sure there's a good reason for it
The camping side has been sadly neglected. Grass areas are lower than the roads and prone to flooding which after all these years of electric pitches flooding I thought would have been addressed with a simple raising of the ground. Nothing like. More and more static caravan accommodation.
Clearly not wanted with a touring van so I'm afraid that's the last time. There are better places to go. Such a shame. I have good memories of this place with my parent's.

Only spent a couple of nights here, cheap and cheerful kind of place, grass was fresh and we were staying in a tent. All the water around the site was very scenic with plenty of swans and ducks around the site. I do have a few complaints about the place. Read Below

1. Swimming Pool
Chlorine levels were a little high, I came out the pool with my eyes stinging like mad. The pool is more pointed towards children and not adults.

2. Toilets
These were a little smelly and rough around the edges, I am not saying all the toilet blocks are this bad but the one near me was pretty bad.

We came for the Bonfire night, we were pleasantly surprised. For £5 entry for each car we thought it was excellent value for money, the fireworks were spectacular. The arcade was good, fun fair was ok. Would prefer a sheltered area for eating food that is outside for these occasions, we had food from the burger van and it was raining but had no where to shelter from the rain. Would definitely come again next year, we look forward to it.

Clean, tidy, toilets & showers. Well sanitized & toilet roll equipped. Some people always spoil it for others though. Busy w/ends produce a lot of rubbish but staff do as best they can. All cleared away earlydoors on Monday. Handy laundrette & shop for provisions.

I enjoyed my stay there very picturesque with the lakes and rivers and all the ducks and geese all over the place. A bit of traffic noise at night but not to bad. Will go again.
