Stayed here for the weekend as trying out campsites in the UK. I must say very pleasantly surprised. It was a lovely weekend even though it rained for most of it which says a lot. Incredibly clean amenities which is probably because they are cleaned about 5 times a day. Its only a small site about 10 pitches which gets away from that camping village crowded feeling you get where some sites have a lot more. Staff were very helpful, friendly & accommodating. There is more here on offer like cream teas delivered to your tent, home made pizzas etc which i saw other campers doing but we didn't only because wed taken our own stuff but looked lovely. They also have bed & breakfast accommodation which on a walk around the grounds looked lovely but we just camped. In all a great private location, meticulously maintained & great value for money in that the wifi which is strong was free & it was much cheaper than other sites for an electrical hook up per pitch per night. As i said the weather was tragic but still loved it. The ONLY reason I personally might not go back is that there are so many sites to explore but if I wanted a proven, great, no fuss & excellent place to camp Id definitely look at this place 10 out ot 10 👍

Liked: Well kept site with good clean toilet and shower facilities, helpful, obliging hosts, situated in peaceful countryside. 12 flat pitches, all taken at the weekend but quiet through the week. Pizzas great, such a good idea and delivered to the tent. A lovely personal touch you wouldn't get on a large campsite.

Disliked: Nothing really though a small tree to provide a little shade would be welcome. Loved the demarcation pitch hedging.

Liked: Good well laid out pitches, nice and flat. Small site so everything is convenient, but still good clean facilities. Pizza delivery to the tent was a great addition, top quality home made pizza. Lots of space for kids to run around and play including a small play area, additionally a small collection of toys and games are available to use as well. Very welcoming hosts.

Stayed here for two nights, Friday through to Sunday. Site was easy to find via Google maps, popped the postcode in and we drove straight there. (The roads in and out and single laned country lanes) check in was super easy, we arrived, called Rose, who came straight out to us, shared with us our pitch for the weekend and how to use all the facilities.

The site itself is very picturesque, immaculately maintained, showers and toilets are together and close by as well as easy to use. The site was full on Saturday evening, and we still had no trouble using the facilities. The pitches are level and separated. We had a field of sheep behind which was lovely and made for a relaxing trip away. ( It is separated by sections of electric fencing, but this isn't close by to your pitch, as your separated by saplings/shrubs).

Rose was fantastic host, and was working hard constantly during our visit.

There is a little playground, I'd say more suitable for older children, but there is also equipment there to use, such as rackets and balls which we made use of.

We didn't manage to have any pizza or cream tea, saw others did and it looked amazing and is bought right to you - something we want to try for our next visit!

Great value for money and ideal location if you want to unwind in the country!

We will certainly be returning.

Nice compact campsite. Really friendly owners who come to check in from time to time.
Only slight downside is that there are only two showers, which also have toilets in, so there is sometimes a bit of a queue for the toilets. I did see they have a planning permission application to add more though.
They have a sink to wash all your dishes, and also a washing machine you can use (you have to pay for this)
Good play area for kids too with plenty of games and toys you can borrow

A perfect break to spend our anniversary. Rose & Philip (and Georgia) were the perfect hosts in a beautiful setting. The Cowhous is perfect, the rooms are beautiful and extremely comfortable. Rose’s breakfasts are gorgeous too with a generous amount of options.
If you love peace and quiet, then Abbey Green Farm is for you.

Awesome camping site in the shropshire countryside. Its location is stunning with amazing beauty spots such as whixall mosses mammoth viewing tower nearby. Its got ample room for families and hikers with terrific facilities. There is cream tea and good food on offer with vintage bikes for hire. I enjoyed the days I spent there will love to visit again and highly recommend to my friends. Rose and phillip are wonderful hosts who attend to all needs.

We stayed here for one night and enjoyed it very much. The host Rose is very hearty. We had ordered a Pizza the day before, but unfortunately the mail didn't arrive. As soon as she heard of the missing order Rose rushed to the kitchen, and halve an our later she stood with warm and tasty Pizza at our bus.

The sanitary facilities are far about standard. And the place is very quite. You don't hear nothing, which means, that you of course are a bit away from bigger streets. But I prefer that in contra to staying near the motorway...

All in all I would recommend to visit it.
