Nice quiet park in a great location for the Western lakes and coast. Very well equipped caravan with views over farmland. The van was spotless and even had an ensuite. The staff were friendly and helpful. No facilities on the site which suited us as meant the place was quiet. The park is quite close to the main road, so there is a little noise but not intrusive. Recommended.

This is a nice flat campsite with decent fully grassed pitches and easy pegging soil far enough off the main road to be quiet. Ideal for Gosforth, Wastwater and Scafell Pike. The family friendly attractions of Muncaster Castle, Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway and Seascale beach are also close by.
Although there is plenty of hot water for washing up and showers the site is let down by the toilet/shower block which needs some investment. It wouldn’t put me off going again but it does need some repairs or a full update.
No wi-fi but a good phone and data signal.

It's a decent camping location close to the Lakes and the beach, however it's about 20 Min walk from the nearest village, if you want to go to pub there is no path, so you walk along the road. Shower was extremely hot and you have to keep pressing the button to get the water flow. No kitchen facilities, we stayed at many camp sites where you can put your food/drinks in a fridge. I didn't see any recycling bins either. Just very basic camping facilities.

Perfect for a quiet break in the Western Lakes. Well equipped caravans. Dog walking area, laundry room. No bar or entertainment. Wouldn't say it's suitable for families unless they like walking. Gosforth village a 5 minute drive away, well stocked Budgens, fabulous bakery, two pubs Seascale, 10 minutes away, beach, takeaway, small Co-Op. Hook ups for campers and caravans, shower blocks

Okay for overnight but would not for a week. To far out , so there's nothing there. Toilets block is old and needs updating badly, rust and damp ...

We visited in September for a 5 night stay with our dog and autistic son. The owners made sure we had a van with a secure balcony for our son and dog and were in a quiet area. The park is lovely, it's well tended too and the vans and spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the views are beautiful. There is a field onsite specifically for walking your dog but there are no play areas for children so I would recommend bringing things to keep them entertained on an evening. Highly recommend this park and will definitely visit again 😊

Always a lovely quiet clean site. Caravan lovely clean and modern. Some internal doors didn't fit as good as they should need adjustment hence 4 star instead of 5 star. Friendly staff. Love the dog walk and views
