Lovely campsite, very well maintained and extremely professional yet friendly for a fairly big site.

Facilities and amenities great although a little pricey.

Good on site bar/ restaurant and enough things to keep the kids entertained.

Campsite was clean and tidy. Layout and pitches were very good. Quite a few shower blocks/WC in each area, however the main ones near the base camp are a lot better and family friendly. (Thank you for constant hot water in the showers rather than the push buttons 😊)
Basecamp Resturant the food, especially the pizzas were very good. The service was friendly but very slow and unattentive, long waits to get anyones attention and having to constantly ask rather than being offered. Not sure if they did desserts as was never offered!

Our new favourite campsite! Beautifully maintained, fantastic facilities and all the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The BASECAMP was a lovely space to relax in and we really enjoyed the pizza. Can’t wait to come back!

Stayed here many times. Great place to stay, always clean, lovely food and great staff. Base camp is brilliant and there’s plenty to keep the kids entertained.

We stayed in a Lodge, living area was a little compact but bedrooms spacious, clean and plenty of privacy. Hot tub was lovely in an eve under the stars, listening to the owls hooting.
Our half term is a week earlier than most so some things were not available, as classed as off season, such as bike hire, so check what is available. Had fun with the crazy golf, and the play areas. Very clean throughout the site.
We used the Basecamp cafe/restaurant several times during our stay, food quality was excellent, some comments reference high prices however they are on par with pubs etc and the atmosphere was inviting, staff very attentive and friendly.
Great location for exploring, highly recommend and look forward to returning.
NB. No WiFi outside of the clubhouse!!

I have recently been introduced to Basecamp for breakfast and have told all my friends/family about it. A lovely setting, nice staff and great food. I have been back already and intend on going again. Hopefully going to look at staying in lodge too, they look amazing!

Such a lovely place, very chilled, very spacious and not chilly! Staff are amazingly friendly and the cakes and drinks top notch. Busy enough for atmosphere, not too busy to be chaos
