What a lovely site. Very sheltered, surrounded by ancient woodland but still light, spacious and sunny. All you could hear was bird song it was so peaceful.
This was our very first night in a motorhome....our test run. Cheryl was so kind, helpful and welcoming when we arrived, making it clear that they were there to help and we only had to ask if we had any problems.
It is a paradise for dogs as opposite the site entrance there are 110acres of beautiful woodland to walk in and at the bottom of the site a path through more woods to a dog friendly pub.
I would recommend this site without hesitation.

Very nice site, pitches are well spaced. Walks directly off the site into the woods. Nearest pub less than a 10 minute walk. The approach road is narrow but easily managed if you take your time. Will come again.

We are campervaners and members of the C&MH club. This was our first visit to the site and the area, but we want to return soon. Its a very beautiful site, in wooded glades. Five minutes walk to a nice pub, or fifteen minutes to a better pub. The village has a wonderful butchers, with all the meat being as local as possible. Its a bit of a hike to the bus service 100 &101 Wave and about thirty minutes walk to a super beach at Cliff End. Beautiful.

A lovely welcome to this fabulous site.
Very peaceful small site excellent customer service nothing too much trouble site and facilities are immaculate so clean and tidy everywhere there are beautiful flower baskets and herbs so lovely.
This has got to be my number one site the wardens are so thoughtful they arranged a jubilee get together drink and raffle and we all had a wonderful time. They are always on the go cleaning and tidying always with a hello and a smile for everyone how nice is that on a site. Well done

Nice clean site managed to get a shaded pitch which helped with the heat. The only couple of things to mention is the tv reception is bad we could not get a signal even with the booster cable. No phone signal either. Did end up reading instead so that made a change and it was too hot to sit inside the motorhome anyway. So we did have a relaxed stay. The sawyer pub is only a 10 minute walk which was nice and it is dog friendly. Overall a good site

First time at fairlight Wood caravan was there for a week fantastic hols would definitely recommend it to anyone, never met wardens like Cheryl and Dean so kind caring, helpful never anything to much trouble to talk to or discuss things if only sights could be more like this with people like these two. The sight was pretty the pitch we had was fantastic sunshine around the pitch all day, very quiet but very friendly, carnt wait to come back

Small site beautifully kept. One is immediately surrounded by woods and nature. Fairlight Wood is a very quiet site. Toilet facilities are truly immaculate. Very warm welcome by the wardens.

What an amazing site! Peaceful friendly, clean and Dean and Cheryl are so welcoming. We have camped around many parts of the world but this site just had that extra special warmth about it. So good we are coming back in a few weeks time!
