Have been here since 20th April. Great campsite which is so quiet yet only five minutes walk from hay on Wye. Grass is mown regularly and is very well kept. Owners very friendly and helpful with lots of advice on where to go. Lots of space between pitches. Facilities very clean and good water pressure.

The existing reviews say it all. I totally agree, this CL would be hard to beat. Quiet, beautifully maintained site, secluded yet short walk to town. Exceptionally warm welcome from Lynda and her father, Peter. I had a wonderful four nights here, marred only by me ripping a hole in the N/S sill of my 6.5 motorhome, on leaving. There is a very low retaining wall on the left of the narrow access lane. This appeared to have claimed other victims, before me. This is no reflection on a great CL; more my inept driving.

Excellent site which is why we have been back numerous times. You can find your own quiet spot as there is simply loads of space at the location. The short walk into Hay allows you to explore the market town and surrounding countryside - check out our YouTube channel Getaway Geese where we have several videos on visits if you need convincing

A gem of a site close to the centre of Hay, and I do mean close, a 3 min walk. Wonderful welcome from both Peter and Linda , with a detailed list of what's to see and where it is. There is a Coop 2 mins walk away from the site, and good dog walking facilities. To be recommended, especially to MH owners like us with dogs and no other transport.

what a brilliant place a really large well maintained grassy field - well actually 2 fields the smaller one over a stream in Wales and the larger one in England. the stream is the border between the 2 countries. as it's a CL there is a max of only 5 vehicles which means there is a mass of space in between and loads of room for the dogs
the town of Hay on Wye is just 5 minutes walk which has plenty of good pubs and restaurants
the owner popped down to see us to check that we had everything we needed

Lovely, picturesque CL just 5 minutes walk from Hay-on-Wye. Very friendly and helpful owners Lynda and her Dad aka Pete the Greet (a real character), all grass pitches but as there’s been no rain the ground was firm for our heavy motorhome, from the main road the entrance looks like a tight squeeze but it was fine even for our large motorhome. We’ll definitely be returning customers

Beautiful, peaceful and a stones throw from town. Lynda is lovely and has great advice on local walks. A real hidden gem.
