Liked: The site is lovely and peaceful but not too far away to visit places. The facilities are clean with plenty of hot water in the showers. Added things like a washer and a couple of tumble dryers in the communal area are fantastic. The lodge was great with a proper bed and electric. Really like the improved kitchen since we stayed a few years ago as now has a full size fridge with freezer box and a hob with plenty of storage space and a nice seating area for when it rains. Really lovely thank you.

Disliked: Missing a kettle in Foxes Den

A wonderful campsite with everything you need. No hassle, no faff.
A great honesty shop with cold drinks, ice-cream and camping supplies.
Firepits available and wood too.
Warm showers, beautiful views.
Outside covered area, washing up facilities, washer & drier. Plenty of space, amazing views all whilst in a quiet and peaceful spot in the Lake district national park. A must visit if you are coming to the Lakes.
Just over 5 miles from Windermere.
We'll be back time and time again. Thanks Moss Howe!

Liked: The camp site is one of the best I’ve been to. There are hot showers, a fridge, washing up basins, an honesty shop, benches and you can even hire a fire pit! The pitch was perfect, soft grass. There’s Wi-Fi too!

Disliked: The toilets would benefit from having a toilet brush, so that users can clean them after use.

Liked: Great site. Quiet and tranquil. Plenty of room to set up. On site amenities were good znd clean. Shop was handy for bits and pieces.
Nice to sit down with a fire in the evening and toast marshmallows as the sun dropped behind the hills.

Liked: Good location, easy check in/check out

Disliked: One of the mens showers had a broken temperature fitting so a cool shower was only option, luckily it wasnt too busy so other one was free most of the time. Lots of kids, which is fine, but parents dont seem to teach them etiquette of camping like dont run around or walk so close to other peoples tents you are tripping on their guy lines.

Liked: Relaxed, quiet site, great facilities, made use of the logs from the shop and fire pit, lodge was well equipped and comfortable and having the fridge was brilliant with the weather being so hot.

Disliked: Not specifically a dislike as having no Wi-Fi is not too bad a thing sometimes but it was limited to a certain point on the site. This meant a short walk towards the vicinity of the shop.

Liked: Everything… the staff, facilities, location, quality of accommodation - I was pretty envious of the Rabbit Warrens, Yerts and outdoor decked balconies. It was the perfect family camping trip. Even my fellow campers were helpful, polite and really friendly. The opportunity to fellowship with family and Jesus under the stars close to Windermere for a couple of days was truly AMAZING!! We will definitely be returning again and plan to move to The Lake District in the very near future.

Liked: Everything about the place is wonderful. It is the most peaceful campsite we've ever stayed on and perfect for a quiet break away from everything. The facilities are great and the dryer is really handy. The little shop has essentials and it's not far from the village shop or a petrol station nearby. We stayed in Rabbits burrow and is the second time we have stayed in there and the third time we have stayed on the site overall and we will definitely be back. The little touches around the lodge really make a difference. The owner is lovely and super helpful should you need any help but the signs at the entrance are clear about what to do with no reception.
