Beautiful campsite. Nothing is too much trouble to for the owners. Very friendly and welcoming. So much so, we’ve booked again later in the month.
Perfect if you have your own kyaks, as right on the river. Only a 5-10 minute drive to Ross on wye where you can get bits you might need.
Keep an eye out for maisy the campsite cat. Shes such a beautiful old girl who loves fuss!

My wife and I recently stayed at Huntsham Bridge Campsite for a night on our way kayaking down the River Wye. We had just done 26miles in the kayak and the shower on the site was a welcoming surprise. The owners, Jane & Richard were some of the friendliest people we’ve ever met and couldn’t do enough for us. The campsite itself has limited pitches so as not to feel overcrowded, with lovely areas to sit and eat by the river.
I would highly recommend a stay here!!

We had 2 nights booked here. We only ended up staying one night but that had nothing to do with the campsite!

This site is perfect if you want to do any canoeing on the Wye as we did the Ross-on-Wye to Symonds Yat. You even get to canoe right past the campsite.

The hosts were really lovely and welcoming and the site was nicely spread out so you didn’t feel too bunched up. The site is also amongst some absolutely beautiful apple, pear and plum trees. And being next to the river is very peaceful. It was also lovely being brought a fire pit and logs for a small cost.

My only complaint about the site is the number of toilets. There’s only one for about 10-15 pitches. While this wasn’t a huge problem it did mean often waiting. Same with the single shower.

Amazing place and even more amazing owners!
Planned to stay for 2 nights and ended up extending 5 nights. The owners are super friendly, cannot do enough to help you. Even after asking where to watch the England game, they brought their home TV out into the garden so we could all watch it, brilliant!

Location great too, right on the wye River to watch the canoeing and some beautiful walks close by. From this site can walk along the side of the wye to see numerous birds of prey and very quiet on this side.

Loved the place and the people. Felt like a home away from away which was great after 2 weeks cycle touring on my own.
Hi guys sorry the review took a while but I still remember you both 😁
Keep on doing what you're doing!

Couldn’t recommend enough. We stayed here two nights while kayaking along the Wye. It has a private landing on the river and is much quieter than the sites a little downstream in Symonds Yat. Richard and Jane couldn’t have been more helpful with fitting us in last minute, lovely big breakfast roll and hot drinks in the morning for a small fee. Richard provided us with a lift up to Ross with our kayak which saved us a lot of hassle. Limited spaces and no noise after 10pm so quiet but a very friendly, communal vibe. Toilets and shower impeccable.

We had a wonderful time here, beautiful site right next to the the river Wye. A quiet site that is not crowded. Incredibly friendly and helpful owners who kept the facilities spotlessly clean. Firepits and breakfast rolls delivered to your tent. My daughter and I came for a girls camping and activity few days and the whole experience was excellent, couldn't recommend this campsite highly enough.

Everything a campsite should be. Cosy, informal and friendly. Near enough to shops and pubs for convenience and far enough away to feel like you're getting away from it all. Great access to the river and the perfect base for a couple of days paddling down from Kerne Bridge or down to Monmouth through Symmonds Yat. We were two families with four young kids between us and they all loved the 3 night visit. We'll be back!

What an amazing old school hospitality! Richard went an extra mile to provide us with all we needed. Clean and quiet site, great walks, next to the river and dry logs for the firepit. 10/10 Thank you!
