Another amazing stay at Nethergong Camping.

Well, what can I say about this site, it's amazing. Wonderful facilities (all kept lovely and clean), hot showers, fridges and freezers for your food and drink. Great cafe on site serving teas, coffee and treats (also campsite essentials if you've forgotten to pack anything). Great mix of camping areas, fishing lake, pond dipping area. Family owned and run, it's no wonder 90 percent of the people on site are returning customers. Organised a communal fire for everyone of the Saturday evening which was great to meet and chat to fellow campers. We hired a row boat this year and fed the ducks - brilliant. Fishing lessons were also available. The children absolutely love this place, the staff are all amazing and nothing is too much trouble. Great location, close to Canterbury and a number of beaches and attractions. Can't wait to see you all again next season.

Love this place! We’ve been here quite a few times over the years with our friends and our children. They’re all adults now, but they love it too and we just had a great weekend with over 20 of us all together in bell tents, camper vans and tents. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. We ordered 18 pizzas on Friday night, and they were all ready on time - hot and delicious.
As always, we had plenty of space for our group to spread out. Yes, the toilets can be a bit of a walk, but if the trade-off is plenty of space and peace and quiet, that was fine by us. Im surprised to read some people were troubled so much by mosquito bites. We had a few between us but no more than in any other outdoor location. We feel lucky to have been able to stay in this beautiful, peaceful part of Kent. Thanks Nethergong! We hope to return soon.

Everything about Nethergong is great. There are few campsites whose owners take the kind of care that Christine, Jed and the family do. Always friendly, the facilities are some of the best. Having a hot shower is a dream. The pizza nights are heaven sent, especially when you’ve just set up and want to collapse in front of your campfire. The trees and spaces are all lovely, well cared for and it never feels crowded even at capacity. Everyone who goes knows the deal and are really respectful and kids get to be kids in nature!! A rare gem of a place.

We stayed at Nethergong camping for the first time last weekend, Friday to Sunday. Wasn't to sure how much the children would enjoy camping, so we stayed in the Bell tents provided, that have beds and bedding for you, and also you have then use of many other items, including a stove with gas, water container, chairs etc.
The tent and facilities provided was excellent, and really helped us have a trouble free stay.
The campsite was lovely, with a brilliant pond for pond dipping, a lovely lake for fishing and boating, lots of walks in lovely countryside, play areas and more, the kids loved evey minute.
The pizzas Friday night tasted superb, highly recommend
The shop had enough for our needs, and for most visitors. Lots of wildlife around.
Overall, a fantastic stay, 5 stars!

Our happy place ❤️ if you want to get away from it all here is your place. It's so peaceful and everyone who works there is very friendly and kind, they will do all they can to make sure everyone staying has a relaxing time.
Yes there are mosquitos but that's part of camping, just come prepared and cover up in the evenings. We've just done 3 nights and have been fine.
Facilities are superb and always clean.
Plenty of country walks, pond dipping, row boating and just general camping fun.
We love you Nethergong ❤️❤️❤️

This is an absolutely brilliant camp site and it has got better every year that we have returned. From rowing boats around the lake and watching the frogs in the pond to playing ping-pong on the table in the woods we all had a brilliant time, yet again.

WE LOVE THIS PLACE! We return to Nethergong every year to make special memories with family and friends. The kids absolutely love the fishing and the freedom to run and make new friends. The facilities onsite are fantastic and always clean whatever time of the day. It's so handy having the small shop onsite for those essentials you might forget. We love the evening campfires, although there was a ban in place this year due to the dry weather. The owners arranged a communal fire so we could toast some marshmallows and still get our campfire fix. Until next time 🧡💛💚

If relaxed camping your game, then this is for you. Fantastic, informal site with acres of land to use. Small on-site cafe for the use of campers. No electric hook up, but decent showers and washing up area. There's only one rule: Do not annoy your fellow campers - why can't every other site post this on the door!
