Very basic campsite has power hookups and showers are in the farm house a few hundred yards away not much immediately near by but there are some lovely walks around and the town of leek is around a 15 minute steady drive with all the things you would expect from a little rural town. Enjoyed our stay and may be back one day

Lovely lady. Took a late booking. Lovely apot to pitch the tents. Onsite amenities inc toilet and shower along with electric hookup. we camped and had a lovely divided private spot. Alot kf spots are private and surrounded by trees on 3 sides. Only downside not allowed fire pits. Will return :)

This is a nice little camping site. The small size contributes to the intimate feeling. There are defined pitches which are large and well separated, some by trees, making them quite private. The field is somewhat slanted, but not so much that it becomes a discomfort. However our neighbours' car got stuck after several rainy days due to this - they were quickly helped by the owner who towed them with his truck. Oir pitch was a bit stony, and ot was difficult to insert some of the pegs. Bathrooms are some 3 minutes walk away. There is one shower and one toilet each for ladies and gents. They were kept very clean. Showers work with 50p coins giving 7 minutes of warm water. No kitchen or dish washing facilities. Owner Pete was very easy going and friendly, even providing us with a hand drawn map of local attractions. He also sells eggs for a good price, ideal for breakfast! Altogether a good experience and if we decide to travel to this area again we will be back .

Nice quiet site in a beautiful location, but facilities were lacking. Locks on the men's shower was missing, lock on woman's toilet didn't work. Only 1 toilet and shower per gender. 50p to use the shower, although no cash machine for miles around. I haven't used cash the decade, so that was a throwback and a challenge. Needing to run to a town, withdraw money, make a cash purchase and request a specific type of change to have a shower felt like a chore. Would not recommend this campsite.

Great campsite. Really quiet, tucked away in the hills. Small, with about 10 pitches available, both tent and caravan. Electric hook up and water at most pitches, which are a great size. Toilet and shower is on the main farm, so literally a minutes walk. Clean and in great working order.

Beautiful local campsite, we come here for quick get aways after a crazy week in the city, friendly owners with some amazing views and walking around the land. Perfect for a peaceful get away with all the basic facilities you need. Hard standing and grass pitches with electric hookups and water taps, some big pitches with privacy each side aswell which we love. Plenty of farm animals to have a nosey at aswell. Highly recommend.

Stayed here with the family recently and just what we all needed. Amazing, beautiful quiet site on a working farm. Perfect place to escape the rat race and enjoy some quality time in the middle of the Peaks. It's a short walk to the showers but clean and tidy. Lots of lovely walks, pretty town and a stones throw to Alton Towers for the big kids. Thank you Pete and Gail we had a blast and will return! :-)

Great campsite for those that want to getaway from the rat race, no phone signal Internet or TV reception. Lovely range of animals on the farm including alpacas which the farmer let's you help him round up.
