Liked: The cabin was spacious and clean with a lovely welcoming arrangements of sweet peas on the table when we arrived. We enjoyed the indoor games area when it rained which had pool, badminton, football, basketball, air hockey and ping pong, as well as a young children's play area. The campfire area was delightful with a stream and hammocks. We appreciated the bathroom and shower areas, which also had sinks for washing up dishes, etc. There was antiviral spray to use before and after using all the facilities. The couple who run it are friendly and helpful. The location is beautiful- there are flowers everywhere! The closest town for shopping is only 4 miles away. There is a little shop on premises for milk, eggs, soda and other assorted items. It was very well signposted from the main road. There was wifi and a smart tv!

Disliked: The bed in our cabin was slightly broken which made sleeping on that side of it uncomfortable. There wasn't a way to dry hands in the campers toilet, which was separate from the main toilet and shower facilities...this isn't a problem per se, just a suggestion.

Liked: Grandchildren aged 5 and 7 LOVED the well equipped indoor play area. Grandparents LOVED the well kept site complete with shaded bbq and seating area with hammocks. Safe for children to play and cycle. Toilet/shower/sink blocks were always clean and actually stocked with plenty of gel and soap.

Disliked: Not an actual dislike but the approach roads are quite narrow when towing a caravan!

Liked: Lovely campsite, very well kept. Hammocks were a lovely bonus and also being allowed to have a campfire to toast marshmallows! Our kids loved the freedom of a small site and made full use of the games room. Can't wait to come again! Thank you

Staff were amazing and kind. Facilities are very clean 100% would come back again. We stayed for 7 nights and would loved to have stayed longer. They also sell there own duck and chicken eggs 🤤 and honey. The kids loved the massive games room and made some friends for life that live not far from us

Liked: Everything. Great facilities that were well maintained and cleaned daily. Beautiful site which was clearly made to be a camp site, not just a field that tents can go on. Water and electricity very close to every pitch and easy to access. Beautiful spots for the campfire and lots of hammocks to pick for a rest in the shade.

Disliked: Nothing

The site is very crammed in. The location is quite rural, the showers etc were quite clean but not many available considering the amount of pitches. Pitches are so close and very noisy, no time restrictions for quiet time. No space to walk or play. Hammocks and fire pit area very small. Kids loved the games room and the sunsets were pretty.

Liked: Grounds were well maintained, which made pitching the tent very easy. Location was great quite in the evening and not far to far away from a number of different beaches. Staff were very friendly and help me sort out my booking with no issue after I mistakenly booked the wrong week. The fire pits were a nice touch, didn’t take the opportunity to use them this time but will definitely go back in the not to distance future and spend an evening chilling in front of an open fire.

Disliked: The only thing which I could knock this site for would be the showers being part of the toilet block. It was far to hit to use these showers as the room became very steamy but there were also separate family showers which were absolutely fine just had to time it right as there were only two of them. Definitely not a big issue to stop me returning.

Liked: The amenities were to such a high standard. Myself and my partner have travelled all over the Uk and stayed in campsites all over; Scotland, Wales, Lake District and Norfolk and the amenities were by far one of the best we’ve stayed in. Clean showers, toilets always had toilet roll in no matter time of day, disabled facilities too. Clean outdoor and indoor washing up areas and a place to do laundry and tumble dry things. Everything was cleaned everyday by staff, and there was equipment provided to clean in between people (i know the covid rules aren’t as strict anymore but it was good to be given the opportunity to be as clean as possible from person to person). The area of the campsite itself was beautiful, stunning views and walks. Hammocks and fire pits on site and available to use. They’ve even turned one of their barns on site into an activity centre with a football court, basketball hoop, table tennis, pool and snooker tables, tv corner with freeview, air hockey and badminton. The fact they went the extra mile to include this for their guests i think was great; we don’t have kids but went to check it out and we had great fun in there! It was sweet as it had the ‘homemade’ feel, but was always full of kids and a great way for families to meet each other. They had a shop onsite also with all your wants and needs as well as little things you may have forgotten, plus homemade honey from their own bees for sale!

Disliked: I don’t think there was anything i disliked about the campsite or our stay in general
