We have stayed at this lovely site on many occasions over the last year. Its a small beautiful campsite with wonderful views, and has easy excess to surrounding towns including Eastbourne,Lewes and Brighton. The owner Tim always makes us feel so welcome and is so helpful. The showers and toilets are beautifully decorated and always kept so clean

Just returned from a lovely couple of days staying in a pod. The pod was great and had everything we needed, they had really thought of everything! We paid £10 to use the fire pit (wood, coal, fire lighters provided), but there was also very good cooking facilities inside too.
The site was really clean; toilet and shower block was perfectly maintained.
All staff encountered were friendly and wanted to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
Would love to return again one day!

Nice little site, Tim the owner was very polite and friendly. Ideal site for traveling to all local attractions, but the local roads need a bit of attention.
Unfortunately dust and noise caused by the plowing of the local farmer's Fields caused a bit of upset. The weather was nice but not good for the farmer's ( no fault of the site)

Any concerns you may encounter would be resolved by having a chat with the owners, they really want your stay to be special

Liked: Quiet location, 20 minute walk to local pub with lots of local country walks available. Great facilities, toilet and shower block superb, well equipped pod, great deck area with chairs and loungers, BBQ/fire pit with plenty of logs and charcoal available. Wi-fi is very good too. Good road links to Lewes, Uckfield and Brighton all within 20 mins. Very friendly, not overbearing staff, Tim was brilliant.

Lovely little site but by the end of the week the facilities were really quite grubby because other guests were not clearing up after themselves. No one emptied the mop bucket whilst we were there. There is an expectation that CL site guests do these simple tasks to maintain value for money.
Could do with a bin by the dishwasher area.

Just returned from a few nights stay in one of the pods. Wow what can I say, so peaceful/clean pod/toilet and shower facilities. BBQ and firepit available for use but cooking facilities also well catered for. Extremely comfortable/clean bed, probably best couple nights sleep I've has for years. Everything is well catered/clean and of great quality 👌

Such a lovely campsite. Brand new immaculate shower block. Level pitches. Reasonable price. Really enjoyed cycling the Cookoo Trail. The best was listening to the tawny owls at night. Highly recommend.
