The Hosts are very welcoming, it is a lovely well maintained dainty site, albeit very noisy from 05.30 am weekdays due to road traffic noise! We did four nights out of five. Found some nice eateries a reasonable drive from the site. We personally will not be returning as the Road beside the site is far to busy.

Liked: We stayed on hardstanding electric pitch. Was very quiet just what we needed.only us and about 4others there.Hardstanding pitch’s all look a good size.couple running it seem very friendly. Good info on notice board by toilet block of local walks and local pubs etc nearby.will definitely go here again as not far (40mins on a good run) for us 👍
Didn’t go into the shop/reception so no idea what they stock in there. But a Morrison 5/10 minute drive away

Disliked: Nothing to dislike particularly, little bit of road noise but not too bad.. oh actually the smell of rotting beet as we walked to the pub was pretty gross but not the camps fault

Liked: This was my sister and mine first trip in her new camper van, so was a trial run not to far from home.
We were met with a Very friendly welcome from Annie, shown to our pitch and informed of all amenities.
Very clean and well maintained wash rooms, lovely and warm with the underfloor heating.
Sorry we missed you to say goodbye, but we hope to return again, hopefully when the weather is nicer next year.

Liked: Annie and Colin were so lovely - warm welcome and very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. The toilet and shower block were kept spotlessly clean. The campsite was a good location to visit places like Lavenham, Hadleigh, Kersey, Claire, and Long Melton. Lovely walk to Polstead and the pub.
Thank you.

Liked: Colin and Ann are now running the place and are lovely. Ann came running out to see us just this week to say Happy New Year! We come here quite often as it's a lovely sunny site and is close to our family. The best bit is definitely the underfloor heating in the shower block, it is lovely not to have cold feet during the winter. Everything is kept super clean.

Disliked: The washing machine and tumble dryer are small and not very robust. They look like domestic machines. The tumble dryer spreads the waste water across the floor which means that you have to be careful not to drop your clean washing as it will need washing again. Management, please upgrade as soon as you can!

Liked: We stayed at Polstead Country Park for a few days over the New Year period. This is a nicely situated campsite just outside Hadleigh making touring to the local villages easily accessible. This is a lovely little site, very peaceful and very well maintained. We loved the Christmas decorations scattered around the campsite. The facilities are impeccable, there is chemical waste point, laundry room, area for washing up pots and pans, there are toilets and showers which are extremely clean and well kept. There are water points scattered throughout the pitches as well a motor-home service point. The grounds are kept immaculate. To be honest, I think this is the best campsite we have stayed at and will definitely return in the future.

Disliked: Nothing, it was perfect.

Liked: Immaculately kept site with good sized pitches separated by hedgerows. Really warm and friendly welcome with handy maps for walks straight from the campsite. Utilities block was exceptionally clean and the underfloor heating really appreciated as it was -6° when we stayed.
Would definitely recommend.

Disliked: Wi-Fi did not extend to our pitch but we did choose the furthest spot from reception and had a full 4G signal so not really an issue.

Liked: Its always been a favorite of our, a very pretty site. Nice pitches, clean loos and a great Pub to walk too (Cock Inn). It has good food, real Ale and a lovely welcoming feeling.
The wi-fi works surprisingly well and so is the TV reception.

Disliked: Sometimes the Pub shuts :)
