Absolutely fabulous stay, great off grid campsite with beautiful setting. Next time I come I think I'll pitch up into the dell as it looked so picturesque. Love the compost toilets as well as the awesome showers. Lovely walks across the fields with the dog and thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit for roasting marshmallows over.
Also Lizzie was an angel when my dog was suddenly taken ill with life threatening condition (bloat) giving me directions to recommended local vets, and even called ahead for me!
Already planning my next trip!

Liked: Really lovely field, sunshine and shade (helpful in the heatwave!) Shower and toilet facilities very eco-friendly and convenient. Really friendly owners. Quiet spot, peaceful. Felt private and secure.

Disliked: Unfortunately the local pub is/was shut on Mondays, we should have checked!

Liked: Really well kept site, spotless showers and loos. running water, chemical loo disposal, amusing animals in the next field, and even free range eggs at a reasonable price.
Very friendly and accommodating owners.

Disliked: Unfortunately the walkable distance pub is quite unreasonable by staying closed on some days. There is a reasonable drive to the nearest shops, so try to bring what you want to eat with you.

Liked: An absolutely beautiful campsite, communication was fantastic- even let us know about the road closure and how to get to the campsite. Well sign posted. The campsite owner met us at our pitch and was really kind and helpful. The site is a large field surrounded with sheep and trees - loads of space. Basic but excellent facilities. Drinking water, toilets, showers, chemical disposal. Beautiful clear skies and stunning surroundings. We will absolutely be staying again. It was a really lovely and restful stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful land with us. We left early due to heavy rain, wish we could have stayed longer. Loved it.

Disliked: Nothing. It is stunning.

Liked: From the moment we booked to stay here we had excellent communication. We arrived on site and we where able to choose where we pitched up, the kids choose to be near the woodland area. The facilities on site where clean.
The campsite was close to endless walking, with straw fields and maize fields for miles. Very peaceful area and would definitely return.
The owner would visit in late afternoon offering wood for your fire and where only £5.

Disliked: Shower locks need looking at.

Liked: Fantastic site! It had a lovely chilled atmosphere, plenty of space and great (basic) facilities. We were planning on using it as a base to travel around but ended up staying and exploring the surrounding walks and woodlands. If you're looking for somewhere peaceful to stay and feel connected to the countryside, this is it!

Disliked: Nothing!
