Adamswell Scout Campsite

Just back from a week long camp at Adamswell with a group of 60 scouts, explorers and leaders. We had a brilliant week on their beautiful, very well run site. The Campsite was full all week, but never felt overcrowded, and Gordon and the team did a great job looking after us and checking we had all we need. The on-site quads were great value, and the most popular activity we did all week. We'll definitely be back in a few years! Thanks team (49th Greenwich / 1st Dawlish)

Great site, they try really hard to maintain it well and continually improve it adding New activities and facilities. Only negative is proximity to a water treatment plant, which obviously can't be helped.

It’s a great place to bring your Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. And soon the Squirrels will be there as well!

My school used this for a one night Duke of Edinburgh practice camp. The site is pleasant and has numerous trees, with lots of small areas so groups aren't all close together (as it is a Scout camp there were cubs and beavers camping in other parts). The toilet facilities were well maintained, we didn't use the showers as they were near the entrance and we were camped quite far from there. There could be clearer labelling of what IS drinking water, as it only said what was NOT on one of the taps, which led to many questions from our young people! Fair few mosquitoes as there is a stream running past the area we were camped in, but as it was September it wasn't too bad.

The absolute best my mate scored a screamer here absolute scenes, rifled into the top corner, 35 yards out, btw do you know if Spurs will be playing any of there conference league games here cheers. Reece James

I come here with my scouting group , it's got plenty of space and good camping areas.
