We (wife and two children) had the best time here. A lovely campsite. Great wood right next to it that the kids loved, good wash facilities, lots to do in the surrounding area. Wish we would have booked an extra one or two nights.

The toilets, showers and drinking water were all a long walk from our pitches. The pizzas mediocre, the icecream powdery. We hired a bell tent, it stunk of vomit. The whole setup was VERY basic, yet the pricing was very expensive. This is a case of expectations I suppose, for the price we paid for two nights I expected much more. I won't return to this site, and I won't be tempted to another Embers site based on this experience. We had a lovely weekend, but due to the company we were with. The facilities left a lot to be desired. Perhaps acceptable to hardcore campers, but not for us. Having said that, we chatted to a few regular campers there and they were similarly annoyed about the distance to the toilets, and how few there were for a campsite that big - only 3 women's cubicles on the whole site! On the plus side, the staff were very nice and very responsive to queries in person and via email.

An amazing campsite. Hands down the perfect introduction to camping for families. It's a yearly trip we make with all families in our boy's year group. The first timers loved it and are now converts, the more experienced campers loved it too. Close to nearby beaches for a seaside swim. Close to an amazing pub, The Anchor, great food and beverages, with an added bonus of row boats for rental at very reasonable prices. The boats are easy to row, should the kids want to give it a try. Have fun

We had a lovely weekend camping here, simple check in, friendly, helpful staff, great location and clean facilities. Have no doubt we’ll be back and definitely going to try out some of the other Embers sites.

Nice safe campsite but was not busy. No fire pits allowed eventhough moist, green grass away from dried bushy areas. It was so cold in eve, no fire meant cold kids, no camping fun and a real downer. Wash facilities were good but only cleaned around midday meaning by evening and following morning they were below par, especially as more people arrived. The restrictions on fire pits was not conveyed in advance of our arrival meaning we had problems on how to cook food we had brought. Plus we couldnt order food on site as it has to be ordered in advance. Overall poor communication and not at all great first experience im afraid. Unlikely to return or recommend.

Lovely campsite and facilities. Kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves, as did adults. Manager was lovely and very helpful and we would definitely go back there again. Thanks for helping us make more memories 💙❤️

Nice campsite but rip off prices for bell tent. Sooo basic. Have stayed in luxury yurts with all the bells and whistles for far cheaper than these. We may as well have slept in a normal tent and saved a fortune.

Excellent basic campsite with tasty fresh pizzas and small camp shop to keep you in ice creams. Lovely field with well spaced pitches and a great forest for kids to explore! We will return.
Edit - we did return! The weather was not kind but the welcome still was !
