Norwich Camping and Caravanning Club Site

Very warm welcome. Ideal for visiting the city centre. Lots of nice walks nearby. Will have to agree with other people, only 2 showers, 1 very small but on saying that, the showers were hot and powerful. Just a note, no where to dump motor home grey water. Nice stay here

A small site within a great location. There is a great walk to a village called Trouse then a further walk from there to a country park. Sailing and canoeing on offer. A 25 minute walk takes you into Norwich itself. Plenty to see for history buffs and shoppers alike. The staff are as always the best. Do visit. You won't regret it.

I prefer this site to the caravan and motorhome site and would recommend staying here if you fancy a 25 minute walk into Norwich to avoid the inflated car parking charges.
The downside is that the entrance is extremely tight and numerous people have damaged their van entering. It's located on the old lido site and offers very little shade from the recent fierce sun.
There are trees on the left as you enter which I would recommend if you want to have a little shelter from the sun.
Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and would stay again.

Lovely place. People are so kind and helpful here. Close to beautiful walks along the river and buses and bicycle routes to the city centre. Will be back again and again

Great site not huge so worth booking in advance. You can hear traffic and trains but not enough to be a problem.
Toilets always clean but beware they really do close for an hour each morning!

Location is great for city centre. We used the bus but in better weather we may've walked.
The site itself though is desperately in need of a refurbishment! The showers are certainly worse for wear. They are cleaned regularly as best they can be but they're not very inviting. In wet weather the site is very muddy as there are no proper paths. It has a hotch
potch layout too in the field we stayed in.
As it is now I wouldn't stay again.

The ground on the lower field has not drained the rain water so it was a bit waterlogged. Site could do with a few hard standings as there aren't any. A wate water drainage point for motorhomes would be more helpful.

Great campsite - generally quiet - and the staff were super helpful. There are only 2 showers, but it was never a problem- always one free whenever I went. There is the occasional noise from the road in the near distance and the odd train - but it’s in the city so wouldn’t expect the serene quiet of the country side. About 5 minutes to the nearest big supermarkets and retail stores and 8 minutes drive into the city centre. Norwich is usually quite a busy city so expect one or two traffic queues.
Will definitely be coming back here!
