Liked: There is nothing to not like about this site. The views are absolutely fantastic. The facilities are new, very clean and well looked after. All the pitches are very spacious. The welcome and help we received from the owners was exceptional. whilst we were there they were putting the cable in for a new EV point. The village of Aberdovey down the road is a stunning seaside Village with a couple of great pubs and a really good fish and chip shop.

Disliked: A very minor niggle and I'm sure they will sort it out, but we stayed on pitch 17 which was new this year and far from level. As soon as I mentioned this to the owners they brought blocks and it was sorted very quickly

Liked: I really cant find fault with this campsite. First camping trip as a family. Received a lovely welcome as we arrived. Our pitch was easy to find. Lovely and clean site. Washhouse was cleaned 3 times a day and even when we had rain all day, they were kept clean. Lovely facilities, fridges, freezer, washing machine ( though is a tad noisy), wash area and free Wifi!
Football area, rocks to climb and a rope swing all added to the kids enjoyment.
We will certainly be booking again.

Disliked: Only issue we had was drinkers up all night in the communal hut opposite us who were very loud drinking, singing on a rainy night. They also left the hut in a mess the following morning. Staff did clean it up in the morning but would of been nice if they could have been stopped or asked to be quiet.
Instead we made our kids play very noisily near there tents the following morning!

Liked: Owners very friendly and informative.
Lovely site, clean and always hot water.
We only stayed 3 nights on a fully serviced pitch. Excellent.
As I said the site was lovely, but Machynlleth was a bit run down, disappointed.

Disliked: Toilets were unisex, about 6.
Showers 2 female and 2 male.
Showers had hooks but could do with a shelf to put things on.

Liked: Amazing views, laidback vibes, good location. Really close to Machynlleth which is a nice little town with a market on Wednesdays. Really easy drive to the coast - we went to Aberdyffi one day and Ynyslas the next - both gorgeous. The site is within walking distance (under 20 mins) of a pub which is always good news! The best thing about this site is the stunning views, and a nice bonus is the picnic tables on pretty much every pitch. Would definitely recommend this site.

Disliked: The only suggestion would be to have more toilets and showers - at busy times there may be a small queue for toilets, but this is only a tiny criticism as it wasn’t an issue 99% of the time.

Liked: The spaciousness of the pitch and the overall site layout was good. The owners were nice and accommodating and helpful when asked questions about the local area. The site was quiet when needed and had loads to keep the kids occupied as many families had similar ages children. A safe and pleasant place to stay with great views.

Disliked: More facilities could be utilised at busy periods

Liked: Beautiful site in a more beautiful area. Tollets & showers were very good, never had to wait. Good washing up facilities. A very peaceful site. We had excellent weather all week and found plenty to see and do. From wild swimming, visiting the osprey centre & Devil’s bridge. Great little ice cream shop in the town, best ice cream ever. Do dairy free too

Liked: The view from the pitch was amazing.
Nice and close to the facilities which were clean. There are only 6 showers and 4 shared toilets but never had to wait too long for one. Washing machines and dryers available and hot water available in the pot washing area.
A good base to lots of different areas close by.

Liked: Excellent facilities. Brilliant location for walking and great scenery. The pitches are all flat and on varying levels so so can see over the top of nearby vans. 15 min walk through the wood and a very quiet lane to get into Pennal where you will find a great pub/restaurant called Glan Yr Afon. Made very welcome on both occasions we had food and ale there! Both excellent as well. Very dog friendly!! The pub is in the process of becoming owned by the community and it certainly deserves to be successful !
