I have camped all over the UK and this site although new to us, is up there in my top three. The setting is beautiful. We saw lots of wildlife and the walks there are amazing. Lots of friendly people and the camp host was really welcoming and helpful.

I would highly recommend staying here. The facilities were modern and very clean. We fell asleep to the sound of a rippling brook and watched the mist come down from the mountains.

Campsite owner super friendly and welcoming. Paid £20.00 for 2 nights (Small Tent) which I thought was a great price! Toilets were clean and showers were great! Awesome views of the mountains with super easy access to snowdon and 10 minute drive to Llanberis! My stay did include parents shouting at kids so just plan where you setup on the field I guess can happen on any site! 100% would recommend and will be back!

Lovely views and setting but that’s about it. £10 per person per night and for that you basically get a place to park or pitch your tent. Showers are £1 of which there were only two. So the queue was long. No loo roll for the whole stay. No hot water. Pitching up was a free for all and I have never seen a campsite so crammed full. There was no regulation of noise. Several groups of people were praying until 1pm. Motor bikes turning up and leaving at all hours. If you are in a van you’d be better off parking across the road for the night. Waste of money

Never again! The pros: great location, reasonably priced. The cons: no loo roll in any of the toilets. And the noise! Friday evening 6pm man out with petrol engined strimmer around the site for an hour. Got worse after that. Seemingly no upper limit on the number of tents and camper vans that could be squeezed onto the one field, no guidance on "quiet time" around the site (loud groups, music), and worst, no limit for arrival time. This meant that new arrivals were were still driving onto the already packed field at midnight, erecting tents/inflating airbeds etc. well after midnight and in one case a group of lads setting up their tent right next to ours at 1am. Not fun, we won't be back. If you're after a decent night's sleep, look elsewhere.

Basic facilities in a great location. 10£ per person. No toilet paper. Extra charge shower (1£- 7 min). Just one shower working properly. Neither hot water in the toilets nor in the outside sink for washing dishes.
Please note: We stayed for three nights during the summer bank holiday weekend so I am sure that if you pick a less busy period and you just need toilet and shower, your experience could be great! ..but in our case toilets were not so clean; hand soap in the toilets was missing; despite we booked few days earlier, the campsite was really crowded and since we arrived very late (10 pm ish) we struggled a bit to find a place for a small tent. In fact we had to park our car far from the tent! Since there isn’t an online booking system we believe that the lady is not tracking numbers properly… we might be wrong but there were really too many people there respect to the dimension of the field, number of showers and number of toilets. Probably she should have declined few booking. Tents were too close to each other and we struggled to sleep because of other people snoring, drank people making noise, loud music and dogs barking. Other than that there is a convenient bus stop on the main road and the location is very nice with a great view of the Crib Goch Arete.

Amazing location with stunning views. As I first time camper I wasn’t sure what to expect. But thoroughly enjoyed the campsite. The site had wc and showers, which were very very clean. The host was very helpful. The campsite was a very relaxed and a great base to go exploring the stunning surroundings. We were able to choose our own pitch. Very reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning ASAP 🌄🙂 N&N

Location - Great, about 10 mins drive from Pen Y Pass Cark Park (starting point for Pyg Track & Miners Track to hike up Snowdon)

Owner - very friendly, helpful and welcoming!

Site - Decent size however it is on a slope so make sure you aren't sleeping head down the slope so the blood doesn't rush to your head! No designated pitches, so just find a spot a pitch your tent. Also some glamping lodges available.

Facilities - Unisex toilets and only 2, however 3 more toilets being built this week!
Unisex showers (breeze blocks between the two), £1 for 6 mins, you need wrap a towel around and and pop your arm out and put another pound coin in for more time. Shower was hot but door didn't lock. Changing room directly outside shower. Plugs in changing room if you need to charge something. Both toilets and showers were cleaned regularly. One shared sink in toilets with mirror, water is cold.

One outdoor sink for washing up, water runs through a tube attached to tap. Water is cold.

Contact - no website, book through phone number only

Overall this is a good campsite for hikers and I would stay again.
