Liked: Everything! Toilet/showers were really clean. The staff on arrival were really friendly and helpful. The actual field where we pitched up (electric hook-up) was really well maintained and clean. The amenities just a few minutes stroll down the road was great, everything you could want really, a shop that sells literally everything, an amusement arcade, hot dogs, burgers, pizza, chippy and most importantly a massive bar! :-) Beach is just a bit further on past the shops and it's beautiful. All in all excellent.

Disliked: Going home!

Liked: The site felt safe and peaceful. Everything was very tidy and the toilet and shower facilities were exceptionally clean. The site staff were friendly and polite.
The views from the pod were glorious and the scenery around the site - to die for.
Sea - a few minutes walk, same the shop, arcade and food places. If you fancied a 5 min drive in to next little village, there was a butchers shop also attached to local store. 10 minutes drive to Barmouth for more shops, attractions, beach, laundrette or just the scenery or you can just catch the train (the station is right next door) and have a coastal scenic train ride.
Basically lovely stay with kids, plenty to do if you choose to.

Liked: Lovely sea views, nice and flat with plenty of space for kids to play. Handy having the small shop, arcade, pub, takeaway and beach just 5 minutes walk away. Owner is friendly and seemed to work tirelessly day and night. Everywhere is clean and tidy. Fire logs and kindling available to buy on site for a reasonable price. Dog friendly.

Disliked: There are not enough toilets and showers for the amount of people staying on the site. There was only 3 toilets and 3 showers in the ladies (presumably it was the same in the men's) meaning there was always a queue. Also, if all 3 showers were in use at the same time, the water pressure was terrible. At least one more toilet/shower block needs to be added to provide adequate facilities.
The site was quite rowdy of an evening with loud music and singing going on until around midnight. We visited over the bank holiday weekend though so it may not be like this at other times.
No numbered/designated pitches.

Liked: This is a fabulous site. We stayed in the pods which was a first for us as we usually stay in our tent, but we really enjoyed it. Good amount of room for 2 adults and 2 young children
In the pods. Thankfully the weather was glorious for the duration of our stay so we spent most of our time sitting outside with the rest of our group, so pods only used for sleeping. The pods were very warm at night, due to the hot weather. The pods are very well insulated.
Excellent location, close to local amenities and the lovely seaside town of Barmouth, and a fabulous beach just a stones throw away.

Disliked: The toilet blocks were cleaned twice daily which was great. Our only negative feedback would be that there needs to be more showers and toilets for the site. We found that we had to queue to use the showers in the mornings and early evenings, and sometimes queued for the toilets also. Not a problem if you were flexible and able to go at alternative times. The queues were likely due to the site being busy with it being the summer holidays.

Liked: The site was lovely & very clean. The showers were the perfect temperature & not once were toilets dirty. My girls aged 10 loved being able to go about the camp safety.
Only met one staff member & he was lovely!
Everything was so close & all within walking distance.
I don’t have a bad thing to say about it! I will definitely look forward to going again!

Liked: Home from a fantastic camping trip last week.
Arrived on site and greeted by the manager who was lovely! Informed us about the site and local things like the train etc.. was given the choice of available pitches which was great to pick our own. Manager was very friendly and accommodating and also very fair on prices for example we needed an extra car and gazebo and was very pleased with how we was treated.
Grounds were so well maintained, this family work tirelessly to keep the site clean and beautiful looking, was lovely to see the children helping out.
We bought fresh eggs and logs on site also very reasonable prices.
As for the views, where ever you pitch you’re definitely getting a beautiful view of the hills or sea it’s just stunning.
The site itself has a no loud music policy after 10pm which is ideal for early birds and families like us, we had good nights sleep without constantly being woken up to music and screaming like other sites.
We ventured into Barmouth a short drive on one of our days but we really didn’t need to as the site has a very short walk to a supermarket, chippy, arcade and a pub and just a little bit further is the most stunning beach. My children spent most of the holiday on the beach it’s just gorgeous and rite on the doorstep of the site, excellent for those who may struggle with long walks.
Thank you for a lovely trip we will definitely be returning.

Disliked: Nothing at all.

Liked: Flat pitches , pitched up where we liked, open space for children to play, 5 minute walk to a lovely dog friendly beach, decent sized arcades , mini mart, fish and chips shop , pizza , ice cream and mini doughnuts and a pub where dogs are allowed in a separate area. 10 minute drive into Barmouth with some good shops and a little fair. 15 minute drive to nantco waterfalls for an amazing swim in the cold water and nice walks (couldn’t do all the walk as we had young children and wasn’t suitable for them to walk ) but still spent a few hours there and had ice cream.
We had good weather all week so spent a lot of the time on the beach and dog walking.

Disliked: Toilet and shower blocks were too small. There were only 3 toilets and 3 showers in both mens and womens. This is an issue during busy periods. The showers only stayed on for 7 seconds before you have to push the button again. Once in the shower there was no shower curtain or anything to stop the water from soaking the floor so once you got out the shower everywhere was wet. I would rather pay for a decent shower and better facilities. The lights to the glamping pods were constantly on so lit up our bedrooms all night which made sleeping difficult. An eye mask would of solved that issue.

The prices of where we stayed was shocking , although you do have fish and chips near by with pizza inside it was expensive and the pizza was a pre made base and wasn’t very nice and cost £10 for 9’’. 5 minute drive you have two cafes both were expensive too. The first cafe was terrible customer service so didn’t stay , they started talking in Welsh so clearly didn’t like us being there.

Liked: Great flat campsite with very convenient facilities near to tent pitch. Friendly staff. Shower blocks were clean and sufficient. Lovely area to camp with supermarket in walking distance, pub and chippy on doorstep. Also 5 minute walk to beach. Would definitely camp here again.

Disliked: Shower controls in shower block meant having to keep pressing button to keep water flowing. Loitering in showering blocks by campers charging their phones.
