Liked: The perfect pitch size and what a view! So quiet and the red kites flew overhead!
Rob and Alex met us with a warm smile and a packet of Welsh cakes. What a way to start the weekend!
The kitchen offered everything one might need and the fridge and freezer were large enough for all campers to keep what they needed in there.
Showers and bathroom facilities were clean and very comfortable.
Our favourite campsite to date and can't wait to return.

The most fantastic campsite run by the best hosts you can imagine. Bob and Alex are the most incredible hosts and coped with 101 'special requests' from me. The facilities are pristine, modern and highly functional. They have thought of everything - even a fantastic supply of ice packs.

The car is a really short distance away so that should not be a barrier. And lots of plugs in the kitchen make the lack of electric hookup no issue. Pitches are huge, the view is incredible, the atmosphere is joyous and the price is far too cheap. Alex and Bob are the most dog friendly people you will ever meet. The site is in a brilliant location. I was staying for a work trip but will definitely be back for a holiday.

Liked: Everything? Site was small and well maintained. Pitches were a good size and good distance between so you had privacy but could have a chat or a sense of community if you wanted. Facilities were excellent. Owners were beyond excellent, such lovely people (and dogs! And cat!) and very understanding and accommodating.
Views, especially at night with the stars, were absolutely fantastic!
We also really loved having our own fire pit and easy access from car to pitch and to owners.

Disliked: Having to brave the cold when needing the loo in the night if you’re in a further pitch! And perhaps could benefit from an honesty store of some key supplies as shops not that close. Small niggles though honestly!

Absolutely fantastic campsite!!!
The views are incredible, the pitches are HUGE and the facilities were second to none.
This has to be one of the best thought out campsite I have ever visited! This is adult only and no cars can be taken onto the pitched meaning is extremely peaceful all day and the grounds are immaculate!
The facilities are exceedingly clean, great hot water for washing and a showering and a communal fridge to store your bits and bobs!

Liked: We liked the owners, campsite and location - it is the best campsite we have stayed in to date. The facilities were amazing - it is a bonus to have tea, coffee and complimentary (emergency) milk left for campers in the kitchen. Showers worked perfectly, there is plenty of room in each cubicle (for hanging towel, etc). From the campsite we were able to visit lots of local attractions and found we had everything we needed close by. The owners provide good information on how to get to attractions. Within the campsite we had a spectacular view of the Black Mountains which turned a beautiful colour from the afternoon onwards. We also stayed up to star gaze - the campsite is in a Dark Skies park, we saw stars and enjoyed this part of our holiday very much. We plan to return later this year for the same.

Disliked: Having to leave!

I'm writing this as we're still 3 full days away from leaving this beautiful, peaceful and welcoming place. Small cosy camping, but plenty of space per pitch. With pristine & modern facilities (toilet & shower) set in an amazing environment. And best of all.. no kids! If we're ever heading in this general direction again I'm sure we'll visit again. Don't think I forgot about the great view of the night's sky, the fire pit on the pitch, with logs available on site and the very nice and welcoming hosts Alex & Bob. We're looking forward to the rest of our stay here!

Absolutely great camping experience! The facilities were fantastic (great showers with hot water, clean/modern toilet block, nice communal kitchen) - the microwave and kettle really make the stay easy and flexible, but there are extras like free tea and regular coffee or made to order morning coffee! Hosts were delightful and will go the extra mile to help you out with things and the site was beautiful - loved our stay here!

Liked: Facilities and amenities are absolutely brilliant and showers were the best we had ever found camping!
Great location for exploring the area & there are local shops that are easily reachable.
The sky at night is just amazing - have not seen anything like that before!
Fantastic hosts - who have thought of everything for a very comfortable stay.

Disliked: Not a dislike, however pitches are side by side and assigned.
