This is just the BEST campsite EVER. The views, the space, the location, the ensuite hut, the woodland walk, the friendly owners all combine to make this campsite probably one of the best in Wales if not the UK. We had a fantastic 5 nights here, we were sorry to leave and we will definitely be returning.

The pizzas and ice cream were also delicious, cooked to perfection and ready for the time we ordered them.

love this site so much, the pitch facilities - the outdoor seating, loo and shower pods are great. The pitches are well separated - so quiet. The views from the top of Tree Field are nice too.

We spent 4 nights camping on the Belinda pitch last week and what a fab set up 😍 we love the Eco friendly vibe that they strongly promote ❤️ the units with the shower/toilet and washing up area are amazing 👏 plus their pizza and homemade ice cream is delicious 😋 beautiful woodland walks surround the very spacious sites. The little village down the road was perfect for all the ttle bits you might need. Lots of wonderful places to visit within a short distance too. Highly recommend for families and digs

Loved the campsite, so peaceful and clean-the en-suite hut and undercover picnic area was a massive winner for us as a family! Love the family that runs it, they were so welcoming. We will definitely return.

Cowpots (and The Cowshed), is THE most amazing site. Everything was immaculately clean and well organised, with so much space to pitch your tent, relax, run and play, with beautiful views of the countryside. The site is well placed to access many of the local attractions and amenities, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and tranquility. Martin, Amelia and their family were all really friendly and super helpful, and the pizzas and ice cream were a hit with the kids too. You literally couldn’t ask for more! I hate to recommend this place… but only incase we can’t get booked again 😜.

We had a wonderful stay at Cowpots, they have exclusive pitches with great private amenities, no camp shop but there are some good shops in Whitland- a short drive away. Really peaceful campsite, great pizzas and ice cream too. We’re going back next year!

Fantastic destination for camping. Huge pitches with loads of space for the kids to play. Facilities were lovely and give a real sense of the great outdoors. Our second trip and was equally as good as the first one. Positive our third trip will be just as enjoyable.

We stayed here in our VW camper in late July as part of a large family group using several pitches. Check in was very smooth and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Access to the pitches is down some very bumpy stoney tracks and not ideal for most saloon cars.
On our first night we camped on a smaller pitch , Nugget, with a small shower and toilet facility in a wooden hut, the shower being right next to the composting toilet so that the shower run off wet all the floor. Nowhere to put clothes or towels or wash bag except the floor or a rustic nail/hook. Our pitch included a picnic table but no covered area. There was no lighting anywhere so the use of torches in the toilet and shower were necessary. (And nowhere to put it !)
Our subsequent nights were on Betty which we shared with my son and partner who pitched a tent. There was plenty of room but a little sloped. This time, our composting toilet and shower were separate so much better but still nowhere to put or hang a towel or clothes apart from the floor where everything would quickly get soaked. However, the toilet smelt strongly and extremely unpleasant .
Both pitches had outdoor sinks and hot and cold water taps to wash dishes.
There was no site shop for supplies and we had to drive along the bumpy tracks to the shop in the local village which was too far and not terribly safe to walk along the road.
On the Saturday night, we were kept awake until well after midnight by the sound of a disco echoing across the valley.
The campsite is situated in a very beautiful valley and is very spacious. But in our opinion, the price of the pitches is far too expensive in view of the lack of facilities. I suppose we were paying for the ‘eco friendliness’ which sets a premium but at the expense of cleanliness and decent hygiene.
We would not stay here again
