Liked: Good facilities and quiet camp site in an ideal location. Loved the barn idea with the fridges and plug sockets, ideal. With a lovely powerful shower which could tell are regularly cleaned.

The staff members were nice and friendly.

No complaints, and a great price too

Liked: This is a beautiful site in a great location - and a superb price compared to others!! The toilets are in one container like box, and the showers in the other. Both clean. We were so surprised that during the height of the school holidays, and a weekend to boot, the price was so good. We weren't squeezed in at all. Bonus that you are almost encouraged to have a lovely campfire with wood and fire pits provided at an extra cost. The little food van serving breakfast and dinner was a real treat. No music is allowed on the site, which is great. The freezer for your freezer blocks was empty, compared to a previous site we had been to. There was also easy access to electric plugs for charging and hot water for dishes. The owner is so friendly, as are the other campers. Totally recommend!

Liked: Drinking water at various spots on the site. Decent showers and toilets, and even a rotary washing line. Handy that it's possible to buy food and drinks in the morning and at night from the van, run by the friendly couple who own the place. The fridge and freezer are really useful, in a large covered area including charging points, a wash-up sink and a picnic bench where you can sit and eat. There are more picnic benches outside. The site is surrounded by lovely oak trees and has beautiful views of the hills. Well connected to plenty of beaches, beauty spots and places of interest. Great that you can have a campfire in a firepit for a reasonable cost.

Disliked: It's a curse and a blessing that the A55 is so close; you can hear it in the background, day and night, but it's not that loud. It does make it easy to reach so many local places quickly, so perhaps worth putting up with, unless you crave silence.

Liked: A peaceful, quite location. A lovely site, been here twice now and have all the intentions to visit again and again. Situated in a great location; pretty scenery, attractions and beaches close by. An easy site to find and access, flat campsite and well kept.
The campsite owners are friendly, approachable, helpful. Other guests were lovely too. Family orientated and for those looking for a peaceful retreat it is nice to have quiet time in the evenings, and for this to be respected by all campers. The children's play area was a hit with the kids.
The food van is a saviour for sleepy mornings and in the evenings after a day of sight-seeing. A nice variety of choices on the menu; Vegan and vegetarian options might be a good shout though, maybe a larger fridge to accommodate all the campers food.
It was nice to see campers from the previous year there, so this site is clearly a firm favourite, and it’s easy to see why.

Liked: Very well set up level site. Desent facilities. Fridges provided to keep your produce cool. Very accommodating and helpful site couple. Only stayed one night but will definately revisit if I am in that area again. Really enjoyed my overnight stay. There's a snax wagon perminently sited which is open in the mornings and evenings great if you don't want to camp cook. Logs and fire pit available to loan to enhance your camp experience. Showers and toilets immaculately clean plenty of hot water for a shower. Seperate covered washing up area. Highly recommended.

Liked: A brilliant campsite and perfect for me as I was camping alone with my dog. It has a really friendly and safe feel to the place. The toilets and showers are clean. The benefits are the possibility to charge your devices and perfect location - close to sea and at the same time far from noise and crowd.
I will not hesitate to return to this site and will definitely recommend it to friends and family. Thank you

Liked: Fantastic large and level pitches, toilets & showers were never busy and always clean. The food van onsite is a great idea, and really reasonably priced. Really friendly owners. Location is great, really quiet at night and convenient for the A55 and local shops.
